You can wield a sidearm or a gun that regens ammo and get easy special ammo for another gun (such as 1k yard stare). Steps below. (Video below aswell) Step 1. Start 3v3 crucible match. Step 2. Generate ammo (if using icebreaker) or just use a sidearm that spawns you with ammo. Step 3: kill yourself, die or finish round (before special spawns for best results). Step 4: switch to another special weapon of your choice [b][u]while dead or in between rounds[/u][/b] and get free special ammo. Edit: people are so focused on my choice of wording using the word glitch that they're overlooking the issue at hand. Bungie's intention was to cause primary battles for the early part of the game and have people fight for special ammo, instead we're stuck with people getting special ammo without touching a crate for guns that [i]don't[/i] regen ammo. This should be reserved for sidearms or one of the 2 regen exotics. People are using the ice breaker as a means to obtain special then switching. They're abusing the gun and not even using it the full game and switching to an exotic primary after they've got what they needed from ice breaker.
