Precision hits should cause those who are hit to flinch.

Yes, this is fair.

No, this is not fair.

As the title suggests, precision hits should cause those who are hit to flinch. Last night, I landed two precision hits on a sniper, only to be sniped in the head before I could Iand the third and final shot. I have not got a problem with sniper rifles, I use them extensively myself, but if I beat a sniper on the trigger, I should be rewarded for doing so. This rule should apply in all gun situations, and there should be a tangible bonus for those who win the initial trigger battle.

  • I would say yes, but there is also the perk "unflinching." The question is what to do with that perk? Should it just now be removed just like shot package? Its actually very useful in PVE, just like shot package was. So think about your response before making suggestions. Just setting the arguments out before you, but if you increase flinch but leave unflinching there, then in 3 months time when all the bad kids get their snipers with unflinching, we are in the same place again anyways. But if you remove the perk in whole, then you eliminate a very useful PVE perk as well. Nerf the perk, and it also nerfs it for PVE. You get my drift. IMO, there are always going to be bad kids using crutch weapons. It is not the easiest thing to do to quick scope and I can hold my own with most long range snipers. I don't think things need nerfs, etc. I just think other weapons need buffs or that people need to use their brains a bit more when they go into PVP because no single weapon is perfect. They all present different strength's and flaws and you should be smart enough to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the weapons your opponents are using and change tactics, weapons, and team strategy to compensate.
