I know this is a common thread, but what should I get?
Lol a friend gave me 65$ in Xbox gift cards and I have no clue what to get.

Witcher 3. Best game of the year, amazing soundtrack, superb story, etc. Fallout 4 is trash

Don't buy MKX, MKXL is coming out for the original game price ($60). It includes all of the characters, skins etc.

Fallout 4 might get you around 50-60 hours in fun. Dark souls will get you hundreds, even thousands.

Witcher 3 isn't at all like Witcher 2. It is much better game. Better combat, better story, open world. Give it a chance. It's an amazing game.

Somehow I feel Fallout 4 is winning just because of its popularity. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but I definitely don't believe it's the best on this list. Personally I'd say The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, or possibly Dying Light: Enhanced The Following Edition (purely for its amount of content and complete status).

Fallout is good, but once you get through the story quests it starts to get stale.

My recommendations are Dark souls 3 or Rainbow Six siege. Can't go wrong with Dark souls and Rainbow Six is one of the best shooters on the market

Fallout 4 was disappointing, if you're not big on rpg mechanics then go right ahead

Witcher 3 isn't Witcher 2, they totally revamped a lot of the mechanics. Great story, great world. Fallout 4 is Fallout 3/NV, so if you were bored with those, you may find your attention drifting.
