As the title suggests, precision hits should cause those who are hit to flinch.
Last night, I landed two precision hits on a sniper, only to be sniped in the head before I could Iand the third and final shot. I have not got a problem with sniper rifles, I use them extensively myself, but if I beat a sniper on the trigger, I should be rewarded for doing so.
This rule should apply in all gun situations, and there should be a tangible bonus for those who win the initial trigger battle.

Sure, if its the only way people can be flinched. Remove high caliber rounds if thats the case

I would say yes, but there is also the perk "unflinching." The question is what to do with that perk? Should it just now be removed just like shot package? Its actually very useful in PVE, just like shot package was. So think about your response before making suggestions. Just setting the arguments out before you, but if you increase flinch but leave unflinching there, then in 3 months time when all the bad kids get their snipers with unflinching, we are in the same place again anyways. But if you remove the perk in whole, then you eliminate a very useful PVE perk as well. Nerf the perk, and it also nerfs it for PVE. You get my drift. IMO, there are always going to be bad kids using crutch weapons. It is not the easiest thing to do to quick scope and I can hold my own with most long range snipers. I don't think things need nerfs, etc. I just think other weapons need buffs or that people need to use their brains a bit more when they go into PVP because no single weapon is perfect. They all present different strength's and flaws and you should be smart enough to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of the weapons your opponents are using and change tactics, weapons, and team strategy to compensate.

Yes, the person to first shoot a headshot should be rewarded to do so.
-
I agree. I snipe people hitting me all the time and it is really unfair and kinda funny that I can stand there and take bullets to the face and still beat you.
-
-
Usually that happens because they pull down the sights quickly between hits and line up the shot even quicker, if this is consistently occurring with the same dude, he/she's really good at sniping. If it's once or twice a match, it's luck.
-
You don't know how many times I've been in your situation. At least once every match. I see a sniper first. Start firing at his head and then bam I'm dead before I can finish it. That's not what snipers should be. So bump this ish
-
Also bump
-
Seems even weapons with high caliber don't make snipers flinch
-
All damage should cause significant flinch to a sniper. It's stupid that you can get the drop on them and start unloading and they can just turn and headshot you.
-
It already dose. It's just per shot and more with crazy with high caliber rounds
-
Go play halo
-
There is already flinch, whether or not you want it increased, I don't know.
-
it does... but lag

Edited by mJORG77: 2/10/2016 6:03:39 AMi think precision hits should throw you out of zoom but only on snipers and only on pvp, but i dont trust John Wewillnerfski to not make snipers unusable in pve i would rather it stays like this for now

The TTK is to the point that special weapon users no longer respect primary weapon fire.
-
If you have been on a sniper flinch post you have more than likely seen me present my comment many times before. If you have, good. If not, please feel free to ask.
-
Makes since to have increased flinch on precisions but to balance it they may reduce the current overall flinch as a normal body shot.
-
Bump.

Space magic....

I agree. It should really give the advantage to the first shot. What's the point of me getting the draw on the enemy when s/he can just whip out a sniper quickly and use aim assist to get a head shot?
-
Not for primaries, just for snipers
-
Gun design is broken period.
-
On snipers yes.

Edited by Kavo: 2/9/2016 5:13:10 PMYes. Very yes.

Yup, was using my suros dis-43( which I think mine has more impact than the mida ) and took three precision shots to only get sniped once before the fourth one. It should not have been possible and if anything not a head shot.
