I demand a full investigation into the disappearance of my characters

[b]READ THIS IN IT'S ENTIRETY; [/b] I've come here further prove that the deletions Bungie claimed happened at 10:04 PM & 10:06 PM, were not the results of a self deletion. See album here for full details of my evening before/during/after the deletions proving the theory of self deletion via my console[i] literally [/i]impossible: http://www.imgur.com/a/ZfnZk [b]Fact:[/b] 2 of my characters we're deleted / replaced with 2 characters of the same class yet different race [b]Fact:[/b] (Confirmed by 2 separate Microsoft Customer Support employees) My account was not compromised [b]Fact: [/b]Destiny has only been accessed via MY Xbox console and no other console (also confirmed by Microsoft Customer Support) [b]Fact:[/b] My Live ID & Gamertag have not been compromised in any way, shape, or form [b]Fact:[/b] My console / gamertag was not online at 02/04/16 at 10:04 - 10:06 PM PST [b]Fact:[/b] I was exiting the freeway at 10:02 PM with my Xbox in my car on the way to work. Bungie, this is not my job to prove this to you. You can verify this information yourself with Microsoft Customer Support. Stop telling me to secure my account when it was never compromised. My Xbox was in my vehicle (because I was driving to work) therefore it was never online at the time of deletions. This is not a "he said/she said" situation. Everything I have said is 100% true and I have documentation to back it all up. Not only have I lost 2 characters due to either a rouge employee or a system error, but I've had to pay money for TWO level 25 boosts just so I can get back into the game. Please see my album and realize that there is something very wrong with this situation and come to the conclusion that this is not a case of self / accidental deletion. I hate to be this petty over a video game, but as you can see from my achievements, I just started playing in September and have already logged 600+ hours. Please investigate / escalate this further because any competent person can see there is more going on here.

  • While I do feel your pain and wish this did not happen to you, bungie won't do any thing. First they don't care. By there "logs" it was a manual delete. Second lest say they did recover your account. This would open the door for 1000s of requests to do the same thing for them. People would delete there players remake them then request all gear to be restored. People would login from VPNs, proxys, and other free hotspots to clam it was not them. Even tracking the xbox that did the delete would be pointless. People would just use there friends consoles to do the deletes. Now while I believe gelitches happen. Your case is not a glitch. Your game toons (more then likely) are saved as a single file. Corruption of this file would result is your entire account with bungie getting wiped (no toons left). More over 2 replacement toons would not be created out of the blue to replace them. Now I see you have a xbox 1. Did you know that with a laptop with windows 10 you can stream your xbox 1 to that laptop. The screen on the xbox does not change. I have done it and from just looking there is no way to tell it's streaming (other than seeing stuff move). With that in mind while you was at work and dealing with a car some one could have remotely controlled your xbox and made the deletions. By Microsoft's logs only your xbox would have accessed your account. Also while logged into the xbox app on said laptop would not show up on your Microsoft account. It might however show up in your account history. My money is on this is what happened. I would set up your Microsoft account like mine. Any login from any IP other than known IPs trigger a e-mail to me alerting me to a login from a "unknown location". I am sorry this has happend to you. It sucks. But with there being 1000s of ways people would exploit it if bungie even did a restore for one person. It would open the door for haveing to do it for any and every one who wishes to make some change to there players. I wish you the best of luck in makeing it back to where you was. Soon a I get a copy of the game for xbox 1 I would be happy to help you get back to where you was.
