Heavy ammunition(Truth)
In my opinion, heavy ammunition should have never been incorporated into player versus player game modes. It is just ridiculous, all these people crying nerf but the biggest pvp game changer has been in the game the entire time. Teams could be down 10000 points and still manage to come back with heavy. Open to criticism and of course that obnoxious troll "extreme butthurt" that lurks on these forums for whatever sense of satisfaction he can get.

Heavy is a huge game changer. It can close gaps, but also make them. The placement, timing, possible baiting can all change the outcome. Good plays/good teamwork can shut down any running streaks.

I agree, especially for 3v3 modes. Heavy ammo feels like it was put in the game to allow unskilled players to get a few cheap kills so they don't feel too bad about doing terrible. Even skilled players agree that it is cheap and will even agree with the other team to not use it.

What Bungie needs to do to eliminate all this tension in PvP is to give players a choice. A mode that players can choose how they want their matches to go.(private matches) Like having a private match with no super, special or heavy ammo. Just primary. Id definitely make my matches with NoLand Beyond only.

They should lower the amount of ammo you get from heavy boxes significantly. For ex now i can get 60 mg bullets or 2 rockets without armor perks. It should be more like 20 bullets and 1 rocket

I don't know what the fix is...but they should def promote more primary weapon fire fights. Pvp is basically special/heavy/super only. Whatever happened to the days of Red Death vs Red Death whoever strafes better wins? Those were the days ha

5 RepliesAgreed. Getting killed by heavy is one of the most annoying things, even more annoying than shotguns. At least with special, you need at least a little skill. It's not competitive, it's cheap.

I like heavy's. I like comebacks.) But usually it's not just heavy's, it's combo: super catch on heavy's spawn + heavy's. Which is fine imo, when it's well played by your teammates. Destiny have some playlists without heavy's at all. They are boring imo, so i'm not playing them, but you can try.

8 RepliesI love camping heavy with a super. When I feel really mean I will let them feel relieved by first looting then killing them. Even out matched by numbers I will suicide loot just to deny the other team. Fun stuff.

1 ReplyThat's just a little ridiculous. Really? I could see maybe everyone automatically getting heavy when the box runs out of time.. Even that would never happen. You know you've performed well with heavy a couple times. Just make sure you don't die or go with a group at all times. If all else fails run in and grab the heavy if you die.. It's alright they don't get the ammo.
