I am a day one veteran and I started playing Borderlands 1 with one of my friends about a week ago for my first time. I used to love Destiny and I was seriously addicted to it. I tried many other games but I kept coming back to Destiny. Now when I started playing Borderlands, I don't even feel like playing Destiny again. For some reason it feels so empty, even the raid or its loot doesn't interest me anymore. What is it about the Borderlands that makes getting the loot so satisfying? What could Destiny developers learn from it and what could they learn from the Borderlands enviroment? Has anyone of you had same kind of feeling with Borderlands or any other same type of game?
