Damage Referee is a 1990 Solution

What a terribly sad day for my favorite game! The "damage referee" idea comes out of the 1990 toolbox of backward solution creation! I wonder if anyone took 2 min to think this thru. My FireTeam and I live in South Africa and when I play Crucible alone, I have a green status bar but the min were 3 or more in a party with VOIP, our status will inevitable drop to red. Don't get me wrong, HATE lag switchers and actually took a sabbatical for 3 months because of these cheaters ruining the game for me but to think this is now a good idea for anyone outside of those living "in the US" is terribly short sited! The sad thing is that my FireTeam's slowest connection is a 10Mb line but if we get anyone NOT in South Africa we will have to connect across a continent. What I don't get is that developers and games like CoD or TitanFall isn't suffering from lag switching. Titan Fall is running of Microsoft Azure (Cloud) and the connection is always constant and reliable, why cant Bungie/Activation think like its 2016 and think of dedicated servers or hosting Destiny in the Azure Cloud??? So now because I don't live in "the States" I'm lagging and is classified as a cheater?! What a sad, sad, sad day! what a great new way to discriminate! Yours regretfully Eish69
