Misunderstanding leads to community backlash! Also, autocorrect changes Bungie to Bungee

So, I am pretty sure I just received the equivalent of a bribe in game from bungie. I sent a message to the community manager here, it was a suggestion to check out other games communities to see how they can improve being community manager, because in my opinion they aren't doing the greatest job. I had already uninstalled destiny about a month ago but suddenly, this morning January 29th 2015, I get an email thanking me for my download. I am thinking, what is this bs. Did bungee just try charge me for something without my knowledge or consent. So, to make sure, I reinstalled the game, about a 60gig download which took about 8 hours to do. That is due to bungee's slow servers, I have a 300MBs connection to my ISP. I have downloaded files twice that size in a fraction of that time. Anyway, when I finally get in I have 11 items in my mail box. I start to open them from "an unknown benefactor". The items are 1000 light, 15 motes, and 15 strange coins. Uh...Lol, thanks Bungie. I downloaded them and them promptly uninstalled the game again.

  • Lol, like all game companies do this...I get an email once or twice a week from one game company or another offering some special deal if I come back and log in this week. This isn't new, it isn't a big deal and tbh, what would you rather have, an email with just a middle finger telling you to stay away?
