Holy -blam!-ing crap!!! Another update!!
What the bloody -blam!-ing blazes?!?! So CEO steps down, new one starts. Suddenly there is WAY more communication from Bungie, almost like they are suddenly aware that WE the players DIRECTLY affect their earning potential...
Yet still the Friday update is ONCE AGAIN FOCUSED ON PVP!!!!!!!!
I'm am sick and tired of every last gorram ounce of your time is put towards PVP!!!! Put some gorram effort into the STORY and PVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading the weekly updates for the past 4 months and have not heard of any new DLC or content for PvE. Have you?? New CEO or not, the weekly updates are hollow and just meaningless words to create a paragraph. Illusion.

1 ReplyI agree. I bought into the idea of Destiny. A shared world first person shooter. The market is saturated with pvp shooters and it doesn't need another one. Destiny was supposed to be different. They have abandoned pve for the minority who play pvp (but scream the loudest online).

I don't expect them to suddenly go - and poof here's 20 more hours of stuff. I would just be happy with them fixing a few broken things in the raid so I can actually reach 320 without playing the raid for an entire year!

Edited by ValorRob: 1/31/2016 10:36:14 PMFirst step is to reinstate Etheric Light as a means of upgrading. Bringing all content in the game, past and present back to being relevant. All past vendor, raid and event gear that is able to be infused. Then they need an absolutely EPIC PvE event. I barley play PvE anymore (check my playtimes...control) and this would bring me back into the PvE and raid environment.

Agree... But will they listen? For the past millions of comments and feedback from the gaming community asking for new PVE content, new story, new DLC..... And nothing. Only talks of Destiny 2. They do not Listen then. They still have not listened now. They are making a game that THEY want to play. Not for us. Will they listen now? Will they at least comment that they have listened in some sort of feedback to US? I challenge Bungie to comment on this. Get off you high pedestal and actually talk to US

To Bungie, PvP has been the most important issue they've had to address in a while, so they're fixing it. This is the first PvE forum post I've seen in a while. Just wait till IB is done. They should be updating PvE soon enough.

You must remember, all the dedicated YouTube/twitchers are mainly pvp players. They are the only ones that matter and get heard. PVE and strikes were just to bring in the players. The story is over and we defeated the last boss. Destiny 2 will have an hour long story line with pvp included into the story. Now it's guardians against the galaxy and the boss battles will be giant guardians against a team of 6 small guardians. That's pvpe

2 RepliesI bet it's coming. It won't all change at once. There's got to be steps involved, and as much as it pains me, PvP is a big part of today's gaming. (I hate it, too. I play nearly every game I pick up, for the story. Started with Spyro the Dragon, moved on to Halo, etc. A good story will keep me playing longer than any PvP content.) I'm betting they'll step up their game. And yes, that's the disgustingly optimistic me talking. (Gross, right? lol) But I love the Destiny universe too much to simply give up on it. Trust me when I say that I'm definitely on a fence here, but I'm leaning toward the hopeful side of that fence. No pre-ordering from Bungie in the foreseeable future, but I still have hope. Sorry. Will stop now. :)

Although one might argue about them using Twitter I was actually amazed how they send out by the minute updates about changing MM settings in iron banner. This is how it should be! For the PVE content I assume that there's something coming but it will be announced after their red roses event to counter some of the upcoming games. From their side of view it would perfectly make sense to build up hype two to four weeks before The Division will be released in March.
