Please help, red connection problem

Hello everyone, i've experienced some network problems these days, every time i play Crucible or Iron Banner my connection goes red, the lag begins, and i cannot figure why. I've done a lot of speed tests on my ps4, and i always had at least 11Mb/s in download an 500Kb/s in upload (with a maximum of 20ms of ping); i know that it's not the best connection ever, but some of my friends have a worse connection and they don't experience the same problem. I've set my PS4 with a static IP address and i correctly opened TCP and UDP ports to that address like explained by bungie. Same connection, but same problem. So the first question is: Does someone know what red connection precisely means? Is it referred to a ping value or something else? Second question: Do you know what may cause the problem? According to the information i gave you, could it be something wrong on my network? Third question: Does someone of you have the same problem? Thanks.

  • I usually have 25/5 & 5ms ping and still get the red/yellow bar frequently. I have put the PS4 in DMZ with and without Upnp > I've tried port forwarding. contacted my ISP. bought a new router. everything is hardwired. games are playable most of the time > but it is probably the destiny servers. we have no dedicated servers in Oz & I frequently get matches against dudes with names I cannot pronounce so the geo filtering just sucks. may change with the incoming hotfix (fingers crossed). my connection tends be better when I am playing with locals with NBN > but even their connection has died in the ass (usually during trials & IB).
