Prioritize connection over skill for matchmaking!
A large number of matches are being overrun by redbars, now I'm not saying that they are cheating but come on bungie! The only thing keeping this game around right now is the pvp part of it, skill based matchmaking isn't working. Fix the lag or watch your baby burn, it's simple.....

I'd just like to not lose 1/2 the players in a match during the match (from both sides). Red bar, disconnect, rubber banding. Red bar immortal used to be a pretty good sign of a cheater, no longer.

2 RepliesI agree, without dedicated servers matchmaking should prioritize connection and low ping times over skill. I'm not sure how or why they thought it would be a good idea to change it in the first place.

is someone is red-bar and have high K/D and leading the top position ith points, 99.9% is on purpose. Now, the players on the very low red0bar are actual bad connections

The ones leading in points and KD ratio with the reddest of red bars are cheating. The ones that are at the bottom of the pile and leave because they are frustrated or get kicked to reconnection by the game are actual bad internet connections. Winning with a high KD ratio isn't a byproduct of bad internet connections.

Half the games I get into are lag tests, and I just can't play. Last night, my last match of the day was against 3 lagging void walkers with ram that just would not take damage and teleported around. Made the game damn near unplayable.
