Original Destiny on PS3 (CD) to Taken King Legendary PS4 (CD) Transfer?
My son played the original Destiny on the ps3 (physical) and got a ps4 for Xmas with the Taken King Legendary Edition (physical). Both Ps3 and the Ps4 are on the same PSN account. PS Plus is active and paid for. How to I get access to the original characters from the ps3 on the ps4? When I put in the Taken King on ps4, I can only get the "Choose you Class" screen. I can not seem to find an exact answer on this situation. Please show me in step by step instructions on how to proceed.

Does your son have his own PSN ID? Character data is saved on Bungie's servers and linked to PSN ID's/gamertags. You should only need to sign into the PS4 with the same PSN ID your son used on PS3, and his characters should be there. If you have multiple ID's on the PS4, try having only your son's ID signed in and start the game, just to make sure the game is not using one of the other ID's to check for character data.
