Dear Bungie representatives, Let me start by saying that I have been playing Destiny since day 1 (of the Beta, that is). I have completed every raid mode, strike, pvp scenario, and consider myself a serious member of the Destiny society. I am an administrator in a 70+ member clan, Betrayers of the Light, where our main goal is to help other people enjoy the game, get the loot they want, and build strong, lasting friendships. We have thoroughly enjoyed the game, with some minor exceptions, up to this point. The unveiled SRL limited-time event brought a new dimension to this game that players around the world had not yet witnessed on such an expansive (and detailed) multiverse. Some of the UK players in our clan had the first opportunity to enjoy the new mode yesterday morning upon release. Since then, other clan members from across the globe have experienced SRL and our 24 hour review is quite simple: Sparrow Racing League needs to become a permanent part of this game. We would love to see more armor, sparrow options, and other items / perks that may benefit players in both PVP and PVE play. Exotic Sparrows with strange "power-ups" or other features might be an interesting tool to bring out of the box. Perhaps, full racing gear "sets" when equipped with a particular sparrow, combine for an enhanced racing edge or combat stat (outside of the upgradable armor perks), such as intelligence, strength, or even a way to increase light level? There are quite a few options and we'd love to see both sparrows and the ships chosen by players as a way to further enhance gameplay and bring meaning to these cool "ideas" that currently lack actual depth and value beyond superficial features in the current world. I would like to hear input from other players as well - please add your ideas and opinions about SRL to this thread.
