One of the perks of purchasing the Destiny Limited/Ghost Edition was the in game exclusive, Frontier Shell. This was the only Ghost shell available in Year 1 beyond the basic white shell that everybody receives. In Year 2 this shell is obsolete as it is capped at 3 defense and cannot be infused with any year 2 Ghosts. My question to Bungie is this: did you intentionally make the Frontier shell obsolete by preventing infusion with year 2 shells or is this something that is being looked at? It would be great to get some clarity on this point from Bungie. It would be nice to have our Limited edition items carry forward year on year as an acknowledgment of sorts. I'm sure some will agree with me whilst others will disagree but good to get everyone's thoughts on whether they think limited edition items such as this should carry forward year on year without being rendered obsolete.
