Shoot some real guns then talk bout these future guns needing nerfs!!
Get on these forums to see if there is any info that can b helpful for becoming a better player and I see 20% or better nerf threads. I find this ridiculous as someone that owns and has shot many different kinds of weapons.
Let's take shotguns for starters. My personal favorite I own is my vepr 12. I honestly rather have it than any shotgun on this game. There is no reason a shotgun shouldn't kill stuff with a headshot from within 50 ft. We roll up coyotes and deer at 50 yds all day. Not to mention how unstable some of these r or slow firing or limited on ammo. My vepr has a 25 rd drum that I can unload accurately in bout 6 seconds. So my bad to the bone future space warrior should have no prob.
Snipers seem to b hot button right now and I really hope they don't ruin them. A 50 bmg can stop a tank. So if u get headshot by one then u r dead.
Fusion rifles r the thing that is very futuristic but it's a weapon u have to charge to fire. So if u got the patients an skill to work that one out and u can get the reticle on a head then I got no prob wit that being a kill.
Heavy weapons seem to b okay since a rocket and machine gun should b able to do quick work of multiple targets.
I really don't want to get into all the ways primaries seem frustrating at times especially hand cannons these days but I can't believe that I'm the only one that feels this way. This is a game set in the future don't let ppl crying cause us to have weaponry that doesn't seem as good as it is in the present.

3 RepliesOkay.... How come the most futuristic, the fusion rifle , is actually worse than Any other weapon? By the way I do know a great deal about weapons and personally think the main 'problem' is the fact that players have to play in a fixed space. Any cqb is done with a Machine pistol, period.

Weapon balance within a [i]game[/i] is completely different to real life buddy. Otherwise, you may as well just have Shotguns in FPS games.

Getting shot in the knee cap IRL might make it a bit hard to run around. I dunno never been shot but I'd assume as much. I'd imagine a game where getting shot in the knee cap once means that you can only crawl around and need to wait 5 min to bleed out and die would not get very much play time.
