Try giving your Xbox One a hard reset(don't worry, nothing will be deleted). Hold your Xbox One's [b]Power Button[/b] until it completely shuts off by itself. Once it shuts off, when you power it back up, a slower start-up screen will take place. Give it a few seconds to complete this phase. Once on, check Destiny again. Hope this helped.

While your console is disconnected and idle, I suggest power-cycling your router/modem as well.
