Black spindle quest
Ok, it's been a while since I've had to do this quest, (since before black spindle got dropped to 290) and I was doing it with a friend just now. I've got to say, it's ridiculous that you upped the difficulty in this quest and lowered the light level of black spindle. I think what needs to change is either, lower the difficulty, make black spindle drop at 310 again, or at least let the party spawn at the beginning of the challenge, once reaching that point in the mission.

1 ReplyIt's an easy mission! I do it my first try every time it comes around. Kill the blights, shoot the boss, kill the blights, shoot the boss, KILL THE BLIGHTS, SHOOT THE BOSS. Boss dies! Clean house!

10 RepliesWhy is everyone having trouble with this? Seriously guys it's not hard. I mean it's not easy but it can easily be done with two minutes to spare. Team work, communication guys. This game is suppose to be hard. I hate seeing people calling for these nerfs and buffs. U have three people on this. Once u have the gun u can have a thousand more. Be smart and have a game plan.

Really not that challenging so long as you have some competent teammates. Got 2 random guys off LFG, and did it first try.

They didn't up the difficulty. Just plan your engagements. Target blights first, clear enemies. Same thing when you get to the boss. New blights spawn at health incraments. Very predictable. Easily duable if your team is decent.

But at the end of the day, that always turns out better for me because I eventually find a right set of people to finish the run LOL. Looking back, no wonder so many whiners are out there still crying out for help

I'm glad for those of you you did it yesterday and succeeded but you're missing the point. It's bull shit to up the difficulty and lower the light level of the reward. Bungie's saying was, "greater risk, greater reward". The risk is definitely greater but the reward is not.

Faith in community restored when some guy helped me beat it late last night, now I've got black spindle, shit is awesome.

If I didn't switch to my Dark Drinker void exotic sword we would never have cleared the captains and centurions in time after killing boss. It's definitely not "easy"......I race dirt bikes and had more trouble breathing while playing this quest lol.

I just got mine today with randoms on the first try. We had a plan. We executed with some hiccups but got it done with 12 seconds to spare!! Not impossible and not easy either!!

It s Exotic weapon, it s not easy for win, it s normal is hard, exotic weapon stop for the easy game.

I helped a friend last night I was 309 Titan and they were 300 hunter 307 warlock. I ran this a while back when I was like only 300 light and can assure you it is more difficult now. We all had exotic swords and used the bubble on the boss. After the first attack one of us dropped on to add duty while we took the boss. We got it done but not first run. I wouldn't be too keen to run it again but will help others out as I was helped but I recommend a good team or its just not worth the time.

6 RepliesI was taking teams through it on my 311 and it was tough, i switched to my GF's profile because she needed a BS and at 295, not only was it impossible to find a team but when you finally do find one (usually other 290's) you simply can not do the damage needed to kill him in time and kill all the adds (and we got there at 6mins to go which is making great time) Just irritating in general now, I helped a lot of people to get theirs today only to get shafted and not get any help from others when i needed it :P.

The difficulty level has been upped a ridiculous amount. It's not even close to what it was.
