Y'all scrubs just can't dodge. Sunbreaker is a low tier super IMO. If their opponent is good at dodging then they can't even do anything.
Edit: A lot of you are missing the point. Sunbreakers are not as easy as you think it is to use. The fact that you have to lead your shots and PREDICT where they are going takes a lot of skill. No other super in the game requires you to do this.
Those who counter argue this by saying something like "I dont even main a titan and i get x amount of kills every time with HoS" well you're just playing against bad people who don't think. The way I see it is HoS looks extremely dominant against bad players (which is the majority of destiny gamers) because they don't bother to try and dodge, but against a good team the super is rather average.

More like that was a low tier player. He didn't seem to grasp the concept of blink and wasted his super. Watching your play it looked more like you were reading his playstyle and acting accordingly. If he had decided once to toss the hammer where you would have ended up, you would have blinked right into it. On another note: I've used Stormtrance without Ionic Blink and destroyed terribad Sunbreakers. Not everyone who jumps on the bandwagon is good.

Probably because he threw before you teleported instead of after. If he was anywhere near as good of you it would've been a much different fight. Btw those dodges were pretty awesome -

In regular crucible I shoulder charged/kneed a Sunbreaker with the peregrine greaves. Was a good time.

Exactly. Been saying it all along. Both Hunter and warlock have blink jump too. They can evade anything tbh. I find myself player blade dancer a lot more than solar Titan lately.

One players ineptitude with a weapon does not make it factually balanced. The class's damage reduction and recovery are to much to combine with ohko projectiles. It is certainly op right now. But much like with thorn you have those using it as a crutch and do mental gymnastics to escape having it nerfed.

7 RepliesEdited by Lord Bird I: 11/29/2015 6:52:12 PMWhen I say that the super is overpowered, I don't mean that it's unstoppable. All supers can be stopped. Sunbreaker is the most difficult to kill, as well as capable of the most damage and kills in PvP. If somebody dies while using it, it's their fault, not the super's. Your video means absolutely nothing, considering you had to use your own super and STILL barely killed the Sunbreaker in time. It took you several seconds to kill the Hammer of Sol user, but if he had hit you ONCE of the three times he was able to throw hammers while you were attacking him, he would have killed you and regenerated all of his health, then went on to kill the rest of your team unless they were able to kill them with luck or their own super as you did.
