Disk vs. Download
I am curious to find out if the game runs better from the system or the disk. I have been having disconnect issues like crazy (again) recently. I remember other games having better stability when ran from the system vs. the disk. Any thoughts?

It is network related. The physical disc has never been a problem, unlike other games. It is Bungie's crappy netcode and their somewhat baffling way the consoles interact with their servers. The base of the game is P2P, or console to console, but there is still a connection to servers for stats and everything else that is always running. It is that link to their servers that messes up frequently, which is why people get booted to orbit or error out so often.

3 RepliesOn Xbox you can always "install" the game from the disc to make in run smoother, but I personally haven't seen a difference in overall performance between the disc and he digital copy. Perhaps someone else has.
