OOPS???!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!! EPIDEMIC WE'RE LOCKED OUT THERE, BRAINIACS

What the heck is going on with these new "OOPS SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED" errors that only started popping up after the last little update yesterday? Your help department seems to think each time they speak to someone about this that ITS SOMEHOW JUST THAT PERSON ONLY. LOOK AT THE DANG BOARDS!!!!! There's literally HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE AFFECTED JUST HERE on these boards. The laws of statistics and sociology would suggest that this number would most likely represent thousands and possibly tens of thousands of guardians are affected. Why has there been no acknowledgment of THIS DAMN OOPS ERROR EPIDEMIC THAT HAS UNFOLDED SINCE THE LAST UPDATE? ITS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND THIS GAME BRINGS ALOT OF JOY TO ALOT OF LIVES AND A TON OF LOVED ONES WOULD SHOW DESTINY TO A VISITING RELATIVE IF IT FRIGGIN WORKED.

 • I FIXED IT I KNOW ITS THE LAST THING YOU WANT TO HEAR PEOPLE BUT YOUR GONNA HAVE TO RESTORE YOUR WHOLE XBOX ONE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS, ERASING EVERYTHING ON THE XBOX. BELOW IS THE STEPS I TOOK: I don't have a pic unfortunately. It's simply small white text in upper left corner on black screen. It says "Oops something bad happened. Please wait" and this sound, the sound that usually happens when the system freezes happens. I turned down my tv the first time but checked a couple times it did the horrible noise every time. So if you actually wait awhile the text will pop up below oops something bad happened and it will say "Thank you for your patience. Feel free to reboot your console and continue playing the game." Unlike any destiny error screen ever. So I tried everything. I successfully set up a static IP, I successfully forwarded all ports. Tomb raider PVP would work fine. Hulu fine everything fine. Destiny just wouldn't work. I uninstalled cleared cache and reinstalled literally 5 times. Nothing. Finally this afternoon I simply restored the Xbox One to factory defaults. Everything was erased. I recovered my gamertag and cleared the cache again at that point just for shits and gigs. I then installed destiny. It then after 8 man hours of trouble shooting with woefully little help from Bungie, did it work. My wife says it's the best present I ever gave her, fixing her Xbox. Lol. Anyways, I know it's the last thing people are going to want to hear but I think the only way to fix this Oops bug on your system is to revert the entire Xbox One to factory defaults. Now I left the static ip and port forwarding in place, but like I said the only thing that made the difference was the return to factory defaults, complete erasure of everything on the Xbox.
