had a thought the other night while thinking about bungie removing the elemental primaries to try to expand our use of primary weapons, from community people i've been in contact with this hit most of us pretty hard as elemental primary weapons were basically the go too's for so long. instead of removing them entirely aside from zhalo supercell, what if a quest line was implemented that we could complete to add a random element to any level 40+ primary? and make the quest repeatable so that would could try for the element we want as many times as we want. this would remove the worry of having one weapon be better than another but at the same time restoring a beloved year one battle mechanic.

seriously your not getting the point... you could put it on ANY PRIMARY not just certain ones -.- read it better

No. Elemental primaries dominated in year 1. Move on

lol not

Or, in stead of a weapon itself, you get a "element core" and you can put it on whatever legendary primary you'd want to put it on, to not single out any specific primary. I've thought about this as well, that was my idea. But the quest thing does sound nice. Instead of my idea, a really low drop rate at the end of the hard raid

No elemental primaries..it's better for the game in the long run..I can see why Luke Smith made the change

10/10 best idea that bungie will never think of!
