I have 2 characters at 296 light and one at 299. I hate the raids and suck at the Crucible. I love the strikes.Is it possible to achieve 300 light with out the raids or crucible.

it's totally possible, as long as you keep doing strikes, especially nightfalls and heroics. between drops, rank-up packages from vendors, and legendary marks, you'll be able to surpass 300 :-)

Probably it is hard to tell if 300 is an unlock level or not

9 RepliesSo you want the rewards but don't want to do the work? Suck at Crucible or not, you just had a week to do Iron Banner. 300+ gear dropped at match end to winners and losers. Anyone could have reached rank 5 in a week which would have given you a 310 ghost shell and a random piece of gear at 310 +. Everyone got a 310 artifact at rank 3.

Next time around you should join because maybe the team will win with your contribution. Or you can wait until Monday and play for a few hours and try to complete a few bounties. Monday the rep increase is substantial. I was able to get rank 5 for two characters in under 4 hours. Be sure to get yourself a shader and emblem though and hope for a class item drop. Or you can grind the court that is where I have got 300 armor before I did a raid. Also complete the nightfall it has a decent chance at 300+ legendary gear.

If your super lucky you can get a drop that's rare armor at 300. Just keep doing strikes and nightfall every week

Not worth the time and effort. Just do normal mode kings fall if you hate raids that much

It's also possible to get 300+ gear from the nightfalls, however this is rare also.

1 ReplyEdited by Seraphim Crypto: 11/24/2015 4:00:45 PMIt is possible, but will require you a great amount of Patience and Time (pun intended). 300 gear can drop from Strikes, Engrams and the Court of Oryx, but it is exceptionally rare.
