I've played quite a few shooters, and bad spawns are among the most frustrating plagues an fps can have. I have a hard time understanding why the company that created one of the greatest shooters of a generation is so bad at ensuring spawn locations are safe. Now when I say safe, I'm not expecting a quarter mile radius with no enemies. But when I spawn three times in a row, in the very same spot, and get instantly sniped each time, I just want to slam my controller into a wall.
I'm not sure if they're aware of this issue, but I'm curious to know how many others have this problem. I'm not a game dev, but it seems like a simple fix would be to prevent players from spawning within the bounds of an enemy players screen (or in my case, directly targeted in the head). It's especially an issue in Rift, where the game forces each team to have an assigned side to spawn in. I'm really hoping this is on Bungie's radar, because it's really just ridiculous. Granted, it doesn't happen each and every game. But it happens in about a third or half the matches I play.

My favorite is getting killed by a special, respawning, and then getting killed by the same special.
