[i]Crucible is actually an activity which gives you XP and character progression, just like most activites in the game. It's clear that the reason Bungie didn't implement this kind of matches is because they want you to EARN your progression rather to become Crucible into a gimmick; which I'm completely ok with that.[/i] But here's the thing that will allow us to have custom matches and we still we requiere to play a standard match for progression: [b]Custom Matches will disable your official character Stat & Progression until the match is finished and return to Orbit.[/b] Which means: - Disable XP earning - Disable objective progression (Quest, Bounty, Mission) - Disable RP faction earning - Disable completion activity rewards - Disable account stat progression (A dedicated separated stats for Custom matchs only would be appreciated) Here are some suggestions for this feature to make it awesome: - Make Public (Adding option of 'Quick Custom/Inofficial Match'), Friends & Invite Only matchmaking options. - Allow us to toggle on/off: --- Level advantages --- Supers --- Rule of Mercy - Allow us to ajust: --- Ammo packs rate of spawning --- Time, Limit score --- Ammo reserves (re)spawning --- Respawning cooldown (not on Elimination) --- Reviving cooldown (not available on certain modes) - Map selection - Lord Shaxx is muted (Properly in the argument, Shaxx is not present, is just a very casual game) [b]Some changes for both standart and custom matches:[/b] - To make a custom match, go to Orbit/ Directory/ The Crucible/ Custom Match "Game progression disabled"/ Launch - Allow votation for the next map: a random limited amount of votable maps, a random button, and a replay map button - Allow a quick/join custom match - Allow a option for a random official match (Launchs/Joins a Random Non-time-gated Crucible Playlist) similar to the Vanguard Strikes [b][i]Personal Notes[/i][/b] I'm not a crucible fan and neither good in there, however, I just want this game to have a place for every kind of player who likes shooter games. And besides, just think about it. This tool is gonna be very useful for the recently proposal of BUngie "Refer-a-Friend" Video makers also will found this extremely handy. So I don't see what this should become a problem.
