I mean you can argue that its for the kill streak bounty, but assists count towards that, and you could be sniping because your going try hard, but heres the thing, theres only one bounty with kill streaks, you wont be getting that many doubles with a sniper over your super or a rocket or (cant believe im promoting shotguns) or shotguns for this matter. Rewards arent and will never be based on your gameplay in the match, as long as you completed it, you have the same chance for gear. Do this many people care about their K/D to point where they just stay behind corners, head glitch, and walk 5 feet out of their spawn? this is so ridiculous. But can you blame them? half of these maps ( firebase blindwatch) where if you have the high ground you win just from sniping, and other maps where its so easy to just camp. All of the small maps are gone, for some reason small maps are better for 6v6 control but not 6v6 clash? There may be something i am not seeing but all the maps are promoting sniping and the players arent helping. The shotguns are gone i am fine with that, but too much anything is never fun. Having shotguns, fusions, sidearms and snipers mixed in is fun, not just one. variety is gone in iron banner. Pulse and Snipers, is what you see a lot. I've seen some hung juries, but not often, or just scouts. Not many are being used. I want variety back xD But some of this may be inaccurate or wrong to some, but hey this was a rant/me venting. So my anger could be clouding my vision soooooooo EDIT: This is just a sidenote but with that be the best overall in a match? Isnt it too easy with a hammer of sol? i mean its still doable but when the objective is just to kill, its a bit unfair to compete with hammers in that sense. i get people have done it, but why not make it best on your team? since the sunbreaker can rack in 7 per use, coupled with a bad juju that bounty should just be easy come against any other class who cant get that many per super use. its an unfair advantage is what i am saying, not like Im shit and nerf them. Just why didnt you think of that before putting that bounty in so we dont have to play on our titans to get that out of the way.
