Hey all, so while I am not the most active forum-goer (More of a forum-lurker if anything) but over the course of playing Destiny and looking at it's intriguing and fascinating lore (which sadly is still not in game as of this post, heh.) I got to thinking... I loved it when in Halo 2 we got to play as the Elites/Sangheili (which I always did when i given the option, I loved playing as The Arbiter and the Elites) and learn more about them, and I got to wondering...What if Bungie did the same thing with the Fallen? Now, hear me out. It's already been established in the Lore that the Eliksni loved under the Traveler's Guidance for quite sometime before they were destroyed? Wouldn't that mean it's safe to assume there were Eliksni Guardians at some point as well? We also know that after the Black Garden, that Light is returning the Traveler. So what if (keywords here) the Traveler started to send out new Ghosts and (I know this will seem crazy) what if the Traveler sent a few of these new Ghosts out to find new Guardians among the slain Fallen in our system? What if the Traveler decided to give a second chance to some of the Fallen to return to the Light? This idea popped around in my head, till I decided to start writing notes down on how I would think this would work and well..I wrote down a lot and am still writing things down. That being said, I decided I'd share what have in this post for all to look upon and tell me what you think. It's been a very couple of weeks for me (I'm in my final semester of college, about to get my Associates in Game Design and Development) but in my free-time on the train, toilet, and sometimes late at night I wrote these down and shared them with my Destiny-playing friends who said I should post it here. ((I may be a bit inconsistent with my updates, just a fair bit of warning)) For my first post, here's what I've written down for Fallen Guardians and there class: [b]Envoy[/b] [u]Overview:[/u] [spoiler] [ Race ] • Eliksni Know to many as Fallen for what they once were, the Eliksni are tenacious, crafty, and resilient. With a resurgence of some making a return to the Light, those skills are those that will utilize against the Darkness in their way to redemption. But for those seeking for a second chance, it is the only path worth choosing."[/i] Envoys are Fallen chosen to be reborn in the Light and reclaim their what they lost by a different means from their kin. WHile the City is wary of excepting them into the fold with every other Guardian, they've found themselves serving and protecting the Reef under the banner of House Judgment. Envoys now serve a greater purpose for the greater good of all and their people. If the Eliksni ever wish to return to a semblance of their grand era and shake off the name Fallen, then the Envoys are the step in right direction. Envoys are fierce warriors, just as fierce as the Human, Exo, and Awoken Guardians who come from Earth. They are well-rounded in all regards in combat and must be, for if they are not the Darkness will swallow the new Light bestowed them. ** Conceptual Note: Eliksni Guardians will have a choice of a single class, However, each Subclass is meant to play very different from the other to make up for this. As well this, Envoy's are a Jack-Of-All-Trades type class, focusing on being more balanced in terms of Agility, Recovery, and Armor.
