Hardly and stability poor range poor ammo reserve Please make it usable again by buffing its stability and range slightly
-
In Before Mute... TLW already gets stability buffs specifically for hip fire. Range buff is not needed, it's speed gives it an 'artificial' range when if you can land multiple hits. Once again, hand cannons are not meant to be a ranged weapon on their base stats. That's why they fixed the range. People were taking out snipers with them. If you use the weapon as it's intended it's still extremely effective.

Know what?
-
It's pretty fine. It's just that hand cannons are in a bit of a bad spot right now.
-
Know? Know what?
-
Only thing that needs to be fixed on tlw is the last handcannon nerf where spamming reduces the base damage since tlw was made to have a high rof
-
Its still really good. Take a day and play with nothing but TLW as ur primary. U'll see
-
No, you're trash. If you actually know how to wield a Hand Cannon, you wouldn't be complaining.
-
Lmao this kid just goes around muting everybody who hates on him. -blam!- off dude
-
I was running through teams using it last night in trials on my way to the lighthouse again. Gun still works, but not as ridiculously OP as it used to be.
-
I'm still laughing at this kid he just mutes every
-
Buff all hand cannons, Last Word would be fine then.
-
*now Please use the weapon accordingly like it is supposed to be used in CQC battles. Or are you too noobish and shit to be able to do that?

Look at its intended range in the stats, it's a CQC hipfire-only weapon, stop trying to crossmap snipe with it you -blam!-tard, you're not supposed to be able to get kills from ranges higher than 5-10 feet

Edited by FreakingElite09: 11/15/2015 3:09:50 PMI love this gun-the only gun i use. Nearly twice as many kills with it as with all auto rifles combine, and even i knew it was getting abused cause of its fire rate. I got used to using it as intended before 2.0, so not much changed for me after. It still has small buggy issues, but conceptually its right where it should be. Sorry.

It's not suppose to have a lot of range it's a hip fire gun for bonus dmg.. That's why they reduced the ADS for it. Ammo capacity is fine, only needs maybe a very slight boost to stability, but not for the gun the perfect balance perk got nerfed a little too much in the 2.0 update so if that was tweaked a hair that's it. Other than that yah you need more practice probably and you'll be fine. If you have a toon setup right you won't have a problem. You need a lot more experience you haven't been here long enough to expect or claim to know anything. The people being dicks with the comments are kinda right but being harsh. An this is coming from an Alpha player.
-
Um I still could use it with a sniper, and I do better with hip fire too now than ever. You just have to pick out your engagements properly which you don't know it because you are not used to it 2 shoot from across the map. Get good with it or don't complain and use a auto rifle. It's short range gun not medium or long like you are used to it being.
-
Muted for stupidity.
-
Having used TLW extensively pre and post 2.0 I think it is fine. Just a slight bump to range so that it is more consistent at close to medium ranges would be nice. Unfortunately with how pulse rifles are and everyone still shotgun blinking I know that it can feel terrible but it just takes a more patient hand now.
-
Handcannons also need their ads zoom returned to pre 2.0!
-
It's just inconsistent.
-
Oh and what stability? Stop using perks that boost its range idiot and use shit that boosts its stability, clearly you don't know how this weapon is supposed to be used
-
Bump! HC's in general needs their accuracy back and their original magazine clip size. Bungie has nerd this class weapon way too hard. They can never balance anything right.
-
I rarely use the last word but when I do it feels like so much fun to use , my K/d goes out of the window and I just enjoy using it , doesn't need a buff , use as intended ! Wild West styleeeeeeeeeee

Edited by Revan Marek: 11/15/2015 5:01:38 PMIt's not what it was and I think it was hit a tad to hard, but the Last Word is still a really good gun. My Hunter still uses it most of the time.

I like how this kid it muting everyone that disagrees with him
