That previous the AMA post. I will not tell of the events leading up to what became an anxiety filled morning for me, but i will tell you this. Sunday night i went to bed, eager to get back to answering questions in the morning. I woke up for work, answered some questions and noticed as i pulled into work that i didnt get a second response from anyone. No thanks, or second answer, which was really odd. I also noticed that two people said Ninjas came while i slept. It was true, several of my answers were removed, even an answer to the question “Are you just making this all up?” to which i responded, “No its speculation from the Grimoire.” I was banned overnight, I had [REDACTED] check my post, none of my more recent answers were there. After that event it became a bit of a novelty “I came too close to knowing the truth” “I was exiled like Toland, or Osiris” etc.. but I was also introduced to [REDACTED] From [REDACTED] I learned a couple things, and then my mind went wild with the knowledge. The connections kept clicking into place, and it drove me insane. I wanted so desperately to share it with everyone, but feared the ramifications. Today i will also share those. To introduce you to it all I draw your attention to the link in the beginning of the post. I’m sure a special few of you saw that and had a sharp inhale of breath, so… let’s begin. Say hello to an early release of information, now no. This is [i]NOT[/i] cut content. This is a 10 year game, it’s been completely planned out with little air bubbles for room for improvement, the PoE is a great example of such. The races from left to right are as follows Vex, Goblins at the bottom, dropped transport vehicles in the middle, and a member of the Sol Progeny on the right. Eliksni (Fallen) an early concept Walker on the left, Servitor, and then Vandal, in the top right early Skiff concept. The Cabal, early concept drop pods instead of Harvesters are shown as their transport. The Hive zombie-like, a horde, withered. The Jackals. This is the name given by me and [REDACTED] as we see the bottom middle is a [url=http://i.imgur.com/sp191jL.jpg]figure like this[/url] above them is [url=http://i.imgur.com/by7yTXf.jpg]everyone’s favorite loading screen[/url] and to the right… the Darkness. There are several theories on what the Darkness is, an armada, a force, a creature, a necessary balance to the Traveler. What if it’s all? What if the Darkness has a true army? Is a force, a balance to the Traveler, and a physical form as well? Could it be something so truly horrible? I think the answer is obviously yes it can be. But what does it mean exactly? Where does this all fit in with the Destiny story? Are these just things to come, things that we have no idea about? Or, have we been lied to? Is the Consensus aware of these Jackals? Do they know the true threat and hide from it under a dying god? How much power does the Speaker have!? Ah yes… the Speaker… he’s a curious case. His dogma is his greatest weakness. He’s not the enemy, but he’s a fool. He hides the truth, exiles those who seek it, turns a blind ear and a deaf eye to those who come to him. He should be removed from his position, yes, but not because he’s evil. He believes too strongly in the Traveler, it would make sense he existed in the Golden Age, died in the Collapse, and was brought back with the memories of the fantastic things she did for us back then. He thinks she’s unstoppable. He thinks she’ll save us all. But he’s wrong. It’s up to us! And with him closing off and pushing back the truth, keeping his secrets from those who [i]need[/i] to know them, from us. Now… I’m confident we’ve had contact in some form with these creatures prior the Collapse, but I also believe we had dealings with some of their tech after. The Dead Orbit Ghost Fragment card speaks of something… something they couldn’t understand out in the disaster of the Reef. This is what Rasputin pushed back, the Jackals, this is where an artifact of theirs now waits. “The Eye” there’s clearly a strong egyptian presence with the Jackals, and the idea of an [url=https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&es_th=1&ie=UTF-8#q=Eye+of+Ra&es_th=1]“Eye of Horus”[/url] isn’t too far fetched an idea. Whatever this weapon was… it drove the members of Dead Orbit insane just by the sight of it. This is pretty much all I feel safe to say here. Other members have decided to speak up on their memories and theories from when the topic first arose. I apologize for any redundancies in the theories, we wanted to cover all the bases. "What kind of news do you have?" Some would ask. Well, it's about the fifth race that no one seems to know what it is. Well I'm here to inform you of what the race is, how they impact the lore, and potentially the future of the game. In order to begin this, I'm going to start a long time ago in the time before the collapse. So we are all in agreement that we found the traveller on Mars and began the golden age, with this, came great leaps in technology and human lifespan and so on. But then the darkness came. But what was this darkness? How does this impact the Exo? It's quite simple really. The Exo were an army that we (as humans) created. We created an army of robots (not Exo, robots, obedient, unconscious machines) to combat this darkness. We called this army "cormorant" and used it to fight this darkness. The darkness, this, thing, if you will, is the fifth race. We read in the grimoire that St 14 posed that the darkness was invading fleet, an armada of sorts. We also see in the picture circulating around of the 5 races that this mystery race has triangles floating above them. But there is more, we have also seen concept art of triangular ships. Is it coincidence that the fifth race has flying triangle ships and St 14 posed that the darkness was an invading armada? I think not! So now that we have established that this fifth race is capable of space travel, and that we built a machine army to fight them, how do we end up with Exo? Well, according to the grimoire, this fifth race has a weapon, a weapon of such power that it haunts any who see it. But who would have seen this weapon the most? Our robot army. Now this is where things get a little confusing, we built a robot army to fight this darkness, and somewhere in the process of fighting, this army became self aware, they became conscious. Now I'm not going discuss the origin of the Exo singularity, but rather why they have numbers beside there name. As I'm sure you're aware, the number represents the number of times an Exo has been "wiped", that is, the number of times they've been "reset", had their memory wiped. But why would an Exo have its memory wiped? Why would one of the keys to our defence be wiped? Elementary my dear friend. Recall the fifth race's weapon? This weapon of awesome power that tainted those who saw it? That is why the Exo wipe their minds. To forget. To forget this weapon. Now what did this weapon do to the Exo? It brought out the worst of them, it made them remember what their base function was, to be a war machine. According to "ghost fragment: legends", the one referring to the deep stone crypt, the Exo all dream, they dream about this tower, and an army they must fight in order to get there. Only, this army is comprised of everyone the Exo has ever met ever. The Exo must slaughter this army in order to reach the tower, but many do not reach the tower, and this dream becomes worse and worse each time, so the Exo ultimately decided to wipe there memory to forget about this, but time and time again, this dream occurs, regardless of the number of "resets" an Exo has experienced. We don't know what happens when the Exo reach the tower, there isn't much in the grimoire regarding that, but what we do know is this: every exo has this dream, every Exo that has this dream and doesn't reach the tower ultimately resets themselves, and that these dreams, are a cause of fighting this fifth race. Now as I type this I realize I forgot to mention how we know the fifth race has this weapon. According to the grimoire card "ghost fragment: dead orbit", there is a derelict spacecraft around Ceres, that no one knew about...or so we are led to believe. The dead orbit sent an arach to go search out this craft/station. Once there, an awoken craft, damaged their ship, and forced them to abandon ship and enter this space station/ship. But what they found was something completely different. They found an "eye", this eye, was not from anything we have seen before...or at least something we haven't seen in a long time. According to this arach, the eye haunts his crew, they all have terrible nightmares from it and were driven mad. Now what's important about this card, is the very last lines, "strike A-113 from the records, tell them to forget the Sophia, and the mission, and her crew." Why would they not want anyone to come for them? Why would, they want people to forget them? Because this eye, was the same thing that we fought so long ago using Exo, it is the same weapon that forces Exo to reset themselves. This weapon is what the army of Exo fought so long ago.
