I used to come to these forums all the time. I would read the weekly update to find out what new things were happening with Halo and with Bungie. Lots of good and bad memories growing up with Halo.
Basically the point... Halo 5 is a watered down piece of junk. While it has what you could call innovation, all of the innovation is gone and moved on to better things. Four arena modes to speak of and two Warzone modes. 80% base defense and no fun at all... for me. I've always hated being forced to go where the horde is to win a match. I was a very calculated player and there isn't really a space for that in the current Warzone.
The cards are a neat idea but the best ones become a waste when you can only use them moments before the game ends. The DMR is almost unobtainable in packs and can't be used until late game either.
The core was already there... so much to work with. Modes that were already fleshed out that many people loved to play. I've always been more for the casual gameplay than the hardcore and I miss Infection. I would set up Custom Games way back when it wasn't even a mode. A time when the community was full of awesomeness.
Forge supposedly coming in December but for as long as they spent on the game you have to wonder why they really need even more time for that. We can all hope to see the return of grifball with Forge, but only time will tell.
Horrible aiming, you have probably a 20% dead zone on the stick and then aiming acceleration you can barely control. I think the only official response to that was that they felt good about the aiming and they had a lot of time to get used to it and we would too. You could fix it with the new elite controller if you wanted to spend another $150.
Whenever someone had a concern they could pop into the forum and you knew someone was watching and listening. There isn't really a place to go for that anymore... you just have to wait and hope the issues get fixed. It also kinda feels like everyone is ramping up the pace of multiplayer because of this e-Sports craze and because of Twitch.
Anyway, just some jumbled ramblings from an aging gamer and long time fan. I'm sure moving on has been a blessing but you are surely missed.
Also, thanks to Pureey, you now have several smaller walls to enjoy! Yay for everyone!

Bungie doesn't make Halo anymore....

Edited by IMAGE NOT FOUND: 11/10/2015 1:34:54 AM343 are fixing the aiming with a patch that solves a problem that seems to affect certain controllers. Though whether this is the same problem that the likes of you and I are having is another matter Additionally, 343 will be updating the controller options to give more control over sensitivity and, I think, the deadzone

Yeah im not reading all that whine

Halo has to change, almost all the first trilogy had the same gameplay, the only memorable things were the campaign and obviously the music by Martin O' Donnell. Halo 5 is a good example of how Halo has to move on, maybe the story needs to be worked a little bit better but the multiplayer is awesome, Bungie made ONE big change to Halo and it's called: Halo Reach; for me, right now all the past Halos feel like a copy/paste.
