Halo- Doing Microtransactions Better Than Destiny.

Thats all there is to it. Halo 5, 100% has a better microtransaction system. The only reason you need to confirm that statement, REQ packs can be bought with real money. Yet buying them with money is just a lazy way of obtaining them. I really enjoy the way they take microtransactions, Yes you can buy them with real money, But they are easily obtained without paying. Destiny needs to change the way they do theirs, Maybe add 50 silver into the nightfall loot pool or something. I like giving people the option to pay for the things they want, But being able to get the paid packages just by obtaining points from just completing matches. They did REQ packs right. Granted REQ packs give a lot of warzone items, if you dont like warzone, just sell the items back for more REQ points towards your next package. Its an amazing system. Paying for the packa is just a quicker alternative to obtaining them, not the main/only way to obtain them.

Anyone who claims Req packs are pay-to-win don't know what pay-to-win is, quite frankly. If it is P2W, then it's the worst implementation of the system I've ever seen, considering I've never had the inclination to spend real money on packs because the game practically pays me a boatload of Req points per match. The simple fact of the matter is that spending real money may give you an advantage over those who choose not to. It's not a definite advantage. It only saves you a relatively short amount of time to purchase packs directly instead of playing a couple of matches to save up points. And of course, it only really applies to Warzone and not the true meat and bones of the series, the Arena multiplayer. To be honest, if having the Req packs mean future map packs and content updates are free for the lifespan of the game, then that is more than a fair tradeoff. We used to have to pay $10-15 per map pack, and that had a far more negative effect on the player base than Req packs ever will.
