Terrible Community
You get TTK a week late and no one wants to play with you, is it really that bad, having to solo every single strike and story mission only to realize that you can't be good and get the best gear because you have to depend on assholes for the raids? You're expected to know what to do, and well, how do you do that if you can't even get people to the raid with. It has been apparent how toxic this community is from crucible matches where I am cursed at, to the lack of friendly players willing to put up with one player who just hasn't done a specific raid yet. It's sad. I forked over another 60 dollars, and for what?

All game communities are like that for a couple of years after launch, with the exception of MOBA players who are perpetually on the verge of having an aneurysm from their sheer anger. This rule goes double for triple A releases. The bad eggs should mellow out/move away from the game sometime next year, or when a separate title in the IP is released. It sucks when people are elitist like that, especially when it's on a game with a heavy emphasis on Leveling and Permanent Weapon selection, and they themselves aren't particularly good players in the first place.

I feel you but try out lfg and you will get the raid done trust and also if someone is being a jerk then just delete that person or leave party

You should be working on gearing up first, before rushing into a raid you're not ready for. People should be willing to help a player do the raid, I agree. But what I don't believe is that they should be required to carry players who haven't spent the time to prepare themselves properly.

3 RepliesIt's a trend that follows shooters. As a genre, shooters collect a certain... 'crowd'. Was never a fan of the people who play call of duty either. Don't look for good players, look for good people.

There are some real cool people in this community but the terrible (by terrible I mean only have gjallahorn or some op weapon or you can't join) lfg groups that you see on Reddit and forums ruin it. The game needs an in game chat box or group finder option which many if not all mmo's have which would allow you to find people or join good clans to help you.
