Just a friendly PSA for people at Oryx!
I have had 2 of my last 3 raid groups start a count down to reach the bombs... Just so the community is aware. That is a waste of time and energy. As soon as Oryx staggers, run to your bomb. As soon as your name appears in the bottom left corner. Run back. Nobody will die, I promise. Just a friendly reminder to the community!

If you pay attention... as you are putting the DPS on Oryx. As soon as he flips back, run! I can make it back after my bomb is triggered and still DPS. There is plenty of time.

Just be smart. That's it. If you're closer to your bomb than your team wait a couple of seconds. If you're further away, haul ass. If everyone in your raid team has common sense, it'll all be fine.

4 RepliesThe issue is if a bomb is very close to the center the timer starts for that first bomb to go off. That means the guy who has to go to the bomb farthest away will die because he hasn't even made to to his bomb before that timer has started this is why i believe people started doing the count down. If you're killing all the orges in the corners which should be happening the count down is useless i agree. However if you dont have help killing your orge it will start running towards the center which is whats happening in a lot of raids and thats why the countdown is common

1 ReplyNo one will die? The closer you stand to Oryx the more damage you'll do, but the guy with the Aura must remember to stand back at the middle to allow all players to get back to the Aura, or the guy who is the furthest back will die

1 ReplyI honestly can't see why people die when detonating orbs. If you are paying attention and start running as soon as oryx is staggered, then you shouldn't have a problem.

2 RepliesIts because they don't understand why the countdown is there. Its so if an ogre does a runner such that the bomb is 5 feet away you needwait a few seconds before stepping in if it drops in the corner your fine. If they do a countdown it should be from the moment of stun 1,2,3 not after they get to the orb.
