Look. I hate [i]unnecessary[/i] nerfs just as much as you do. I also play a lot of Crucible. It's pretty much the only thing I enjoy in the game because I'm good at it. When you play as much Crucible as I do, you start to get the sense when something is overpowered. I've sniped countless Sunbreakers. I've stripped their supers, and demolished them with Golden Gun. I've outplayed them and made them look stupid. I'm still in favor of a nerf. Want to know why? Look at the stats of the class. In the data that Bungie has released, Sunbreaker is consistently the subclass with the highest KD. It consistently wipes an entire team whenever they're not prepared to counter it. Check Reddit. Every few weeks, there's always another video of some Titan getting yet another Seventh Column, because their super allows it. It just has too many positives. The highest DR of any class, with the potential to spec into high armor/solar gear and live through a GG shot. AoE hammers with proximity that allow for health regen if the Titan is specced into it. Infinite hammers so long as the super is active, rather than three concrete shots. It's just too good. You may say that Titans deserve the super. Why? Fist of Havok was the best panic super for PvP and Defender Bubble was absolutely necessary for any raid team. This position is completely unfounded. Year One Hunter supers espoused the idea of "high risk, high reward" after the Bladedancer nerf. A Gunslinger could be easily killed if caught unawares. A Bladedancer could be shotgun/meleed and stopped in their tracks. There's no "risk" for Sunbreakers. You pop your super, 9 times out of 10 you are getting at least 3-4 kills. There's no viable counter that isn't another super, the four snipers in the game with 34-37 impact, or running away. How is that fair, or balanced? Every year one Hunter super could be easily killed with normal weapons. By the way, I don't even have Bladedancer leveled. Never used it. Not once. Never indulged in Blink or Arc Blade. Just in case you were going to use that against me.

Nerf OP Bungie pls

I don't want a nerf for the supers. I want a golden gun shield. It's the only super without a shield. When I can shoot a shotgun that fires one shot every 5 seconds at a golden gunner and it one hits them from like 8 feet, it's a problem. But you also have to remember that most people on the forums just complain.

So you're comparing the 7 OHK hammers to the 3 golden gun shots and single nova bomb. And to stormaclaller, what with the slowest time to kill offensive super in the game. HoS is op in PvP. They need 4 hammers. 5 max with that perk. 7 is -blam!-ing ridiculous.

I'm for your post. Nerfing needs to stop. Also sun breakers are trivial to deal with when prepared for, and no your not always gonna be prepared for breakers but then again your not always prepared to take out golden guns before you're insta killed or nova bombs or trances I could go on but you get it. You can be prepared to deal with a super or risk not being prepared and take the punishment its up to you. I myself have actually been taking great joy in y1 Titan classes and stripping all I come across. FoH and suppressor grenades for all!!!

I understand the anger at the crybabies of the community, but its kinda justified, you get around six hammers, all do splash damage, you get damage resistance, must i go on? Im aware the rest ate ridiculous as well, and they should be. But this is a class above all others, "a master race" if you will. Putting one subclass on a level of its own above the rest is too much to keep the balance. As for changing this is it really impossible to change its stats in the crucible but NOT in pve? They could simply modify the way it works in one if not the other and if they cant well deal with it, its not like it was that useful in pve anyways defender is still the best. Just my opinion, take that into account before you throw insults and slander, thank you and goodbye.

BUMP honestly i killed a sunbreaker with a blade dancer its not even that hard to kill one
