According to the exotic perk "Iron to Gold" on the exotic warlock chest piece Alchemist's Raiment, you are supposed to get bonus glimmer chance on primary ammo pickup. That works fine. However, the second part, which allows you to pick up orbs when your super is full in order to charge your grenades and melee.
It does that fine as well, except the problem is that even when your super, melee, and grenade are charged, it still picks up orbs.
It gets very annoying accidentally picking up and wasting orbs that could be used for orbs for my team.
Please fix.

They seriously didnt notice this? Theres like 3 perks for helms and they all do this. Your one type of helm perk doesnt work bungie. Pretty amazing

I noticed that using the Sunbreaker during your super you're also able to pick up orbs I think that's pretty stupid

This also happens with other exotics with similar abilities like pick up orb charges melee or grenades. Even when fully charged my character picks up the orbs. Only way around it is to go around those orbs if you might need them for a super later. Makes it frustrating when I have to tiptoe around and jump over areas just so I can make sure those orbs are still there when I actually need them.

This needs to be fixed. I actually just got in the forums to address this issue. It's annoying and stupid. This really needs to be fixed.

It's the perk itself, it's no bug. When super is up, the perk makes orbs reduce grenade and melee cooldown, if it's unhelpful, don't wear it, or buy a new one from the kiosk and don't upgrade it.
