Over 40 hours of being booted every 5 minutes. These are serious service issues, Bungie.

I have been receiving ERROR codes for over 40 hours. I have 2 days off a week, and I had hoped to finish my raid....but your servers had a different plan. My connection strength is good and I have been receiving ERROR codes: Weasel, Baboon, Beetle and even Bee. My character pops up sometimes with 0 Player level, and 0 Light level. Has anyone else been having issues? If so, please upvote so Bungie can see it is not an isolated incident. Update: Played 3 strikes without issue, and then BAMM! ERROR: Bee. RIP Vanguard Streak. Update 2: 2 beetles and an anteater! Update 3: Just got completely removed. Forgot what the ERROR code was, but it's clear there is still issues. Update 4: Buzz Buzz! Yet another Bee! Update 5: What do you know? A bee stung me and ruined my fun! Poor, poor Vanguard Streak. Update 6: Seems I finely got some ERROR cacao for my farm! Update 7: 2 cacaos and yet another beeeeee! Update 8: 1 more quail to add to the mix. With the "quail" came a crashed app, oh joy Bungie! Update 9: 7 or so beetles....gross. Update 10: Now I got a rabbit. Time to start a pet shop i imagine. Update 11: Starting to loose my sanity after my toon got "rabbited" and now my light level is gone. Update 12: Well I got another weasel. Such a pain in the ass. Another Vanguard streak wasted. I am so fed up with this... Update 13: 3 days later, I am still having issues. No ERROR codes, but no logging on either...Fix this shit now. 3 days is unacceptable. Update 14: Tons of cacaos this morning. Update 15: Rabbit with app crash. Update 16: What do you know? A morning full of app crashes Rabbits, and beetles. Updates 17,18,19: Weasel, Weasel,Weasel. Over 4 days, and no fix yet...Thanks Oba...err Bungie! Update 20: Bee codes over and over during Iron Banner

  • I had this problem all the time on the ps3. And still do when I try to play on ps3. I have not had this problem at all since I moved to ps4 3 months ago.

    Ever since that dumb -blam!-ing emote -blam!-ing trash came out i keep getting connecting to destiny servers. Instead of worrying about making -blam!-ing emotes worry about making this -blam!-ing trash of a -blam!-ing game playable

    • Ive also been gaving connection issues, mainly weasel and vulture. Due to this i got screwed out of my black spindle and had to run it all over again. Their so concerned with making money off these garbage emotes they dont care about their players.

        • When you test your network wharsyour NAT type if it's 3 you will get these codes,all the time. You,have to open specific ports on router/modem depending on which one your using.

            Hi LurchSkywalker, After investigating your account I'm seeing a high number of Butterfly errors, along with a few Canary errors. Along with the error codes you've mentioned above this strongly indicates a connectivity problem somewhere along the line between your console and Bungie's services. First, look at our Canary help article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11914 Next, go through our [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915]Network Troubleshooting Guide[/url]. We've recently updated it with a ton of new information that has helped most players diagnose their issue: https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915 Finally, some players have reported that they are able to work around Butterfly errors by changing some advanced network settings on their console. Unfortunately I cannot provide you with specific steps for this workaround, as it is not officially supported, but you may have some luck if you search the forums and other web resources for Butterfly.

            • Been having baboon errors all day during strikes and court of oryx. I tried another online game and had no problems with connection errors. Servers must be having a bad day.

              • Been having a ton of baboon and weasel error codes for the last week. Really annoying and only started since the 2.0 patch went up. Ive been kicked from the raid several times and the the daily quest was almost unplayble since every timei made progress on the boss i hit a baboon and the whole encounter would restart. Such a crime i love this game when as a rule i hate fps games. I bought the game new when it first came out then again as legendary edition and for spending over 120 bucks i gotta say i expected far less server issues. Ifthis dont get fixed soon im just gonna have to go back to gta5.

                • Did you ever change your NAT to type 1/open? You were running type 2 and several people advised you to move to a type two, but you just kept responding with "I've always run type 2 with no errors". People were takin the time to help and you just kept telling them that the way you had it worked before...so why should I change it? Well if it's help you seek? Help was offered and you didn't seem to want to take it. A few posts later you say "still having errors", "why am I zooed". But still had not confirmed that you acknowledged their advice, which would've helped. Same thing happened to me and it worked. You took their advice and basically said no, I shouldn't have to try that, because in the past my shit worked. Well guess what? Your shit is broke now and the people that helped you try and fix it have left.

                                  • I am still having the same issues, every 10 minutes or so 'contacting destiny servers', which ends in an error. Even in patrol, or doing a mission on my own. NEVER had problems with destiny until now. Every strike i do, get to the end and it starts again, even if i do get back in i get a black screen while the sound keeps going. Tried pretty much everything on the troubleshooting from rebooting everything to reinstalling destiny....
