It was like any other day. I was playing a few games of rumble, just testing out my new loadouts. Got into a new game on Blind Watch. Not my favorite map, but whatever. Just having a good time, notice a guy has been getting sword hilt kills all game. Must be pretty good, I thought. Game was coming close to the end. I notice sword hilt guy is beating me by 5 kills. Try-hard mode engaged. Game over. Still lost. Then I notice that sword hilt guy went 24-5. Dafuq? Look at other players. 2nd place guy, Crazy Penguin (not exact gamertag) did a little better than me. Then I looked at the 4th and 5th placers. Both of them had 1 or 2 kills and at least 12 deaths. Curious. So I inspected the leader. Him and the scrubs were in the same fireteam. They where boosting sword kills! Didn't want to deal with that. So I backed out. Loaded up another rumble match. Mars again. Firebase Delphi. Meh. I spawn in and the fight's already going. First guy I see is Crazy Penguin. Then the boosters. Oh well. So I start fighting. Boosters still going at it. I made it my goal to interrupt them as much as possible. Came around a corner and met Crazy Penguin. He danced. Still in fight mode, I shot him. After he didn't shoot back, it hit me. He also knows about the boosters. I danced back in reply. A temporary truce had been made. So we then split up and hunted down the cheaters. They weren't giving up without a fight. But I kept pushing. Crazy Penguin was giving them all he had too. They were dug in near the heavy spawn, near the big blast doors, hiding behind boxes. They managed to take down both of us simultaneously. Heavy ammo spawned in. They grabbed it. My super was charged. Hammer Time. Hammers flew and cheaters bodies were burned. They respawned only to be ambushed by Crazy Penguin's stormtrance. The killfeed then flashed, revealing that everyone had quit except Penguin and I. Success! So we were left to our 1v1. It was neck and neck. Neither of us could get a streak going. Shaxx then spoke up. 30 seconds remaining. I was ahead of Penguin by only 10 points. Next kill wins. We met in the hallways of Firebase Delphi. 10 seconds. We both opened fire. We both went down. Fitting. Shaxx called time, leaving me the victor. By 10 points. We danced together one last time before the scoreboard was shown and we went our separate ways.
