New Class: Warden

So I've been brainstorming a bit about a completely new class and what I've always wanted is a legit support class. Like designed around it. Here's what ive got, let me know what you think. More on the class will come when I've thought of more. Oh and this is a work in progress. Warden [b]Necromancer (Void)[/b] [i]"If you've heard the deathsingers of the hive... You'll know what to expect."[/i] Super: Deathsong - You channel the power of the dead making you deal damage to nearby enemies and heal nearby allies. (Time limit) Mods: [u]Pleasing the Dead[/u]- Increases the healing and damaging capabilities of your Deathsong. [u]Dying Wish[/u] - If you die during deathsong you grant every fireteam member in close proximity a powerful overshield. [u]Breathless Whisper[/u] - Activating Deathsong from the grave creates a Necrospot around you that heals allies that stand in it. Melee: Soul Snatch - You steal a part of your opponents soul which leaves them suppressed. [u]Drain and Deceive[/u] - For a short amount of time your enemy will take some damage (about 60%) put out on you. [u]No Time for This[/u] - Hitting the ghost of a dead ally will shorten the resurrection timer by 50% of the current time. [u]Pass it Forward[/u] - Killing an enemy with soul snatch will make the dead soul latch on to you and you can then "pass it forward" to a weak ally in order to heal them. Grenades: [u]Shadow Bolt[/u] - A bolt of void light that damages an enemy by a greater amount. (Will heavily stagger an enemy in PvE. Can be shot and weakened in PvP. Otherwise a 1hk) [u]Venom Bolt[/u] - A bolt of void light that upon hit poisons the target for a short while and during this effect also weakens them for incoming damage and their damage put out. [u]Oracle Bolt[/u] - A bolt of void light that seeks out up to three enemies in close proximity and blinds them for a short time. (Compare to oracle blinding) [b]Wraith (Arc)[/b] [i]"What you are capable of doesn't make sense, I don't know how I feel about it."[/i] Super: Realmbreaker - You become a specter invulnerable to any kind of damage for a limited time but you are only able to deliver 40% of your normal damage. Mods: [u]Bane of Darkness[/u] - You are now able to put out 60% of your normal damage. [u]Wake from the Dream[/u] - Shortens the time of Realmbreaker but upon leaving R.B you're granted a powerful overshield. [u]Friendly Ghost[/u] - During Realmbreaker your bullets heal allies but are unable to damage enemies. Melee: Purify - A melee strike with extended range that relieves any ally from any negative effects. [u]Polish and Perfect[/u] - Hitting the ghost of an ally will make the overshield upon resurrection last longer. [u]Cleansing Curse[/u] - Killing an enemy with Purify will make their body become an arc source of energy that will boost the passive stats (armor, recovery, agility) of any allies standing near it. [u]Clear Mind[/u] - Cleansing an ally with purify when your super is full will make the effect of your purify link between your whole fire team. Grenades: [u]Lightning Bolt[/u] - A bolt of arc light that deals medium damage to enemies and links said damage between each other. [u]Defibrillator Bolt[/u] - A bolt of arc light that deals great damage to a single target. Could also be used to shorten the ress-timer of an ally for about 40% [u]Overcharge Bolt[/u] - A bolt of arc light that seeks out up to five allies and grants them an overshield. [b]Solarsmith (Solar)[/b] [i]"Some become one with the light, and some bend it to their will."[/i] Super: Wall of Light - You raise a wall of light in front of you that weakens enemy fire and boosts allies damage that pass through it. Mods: [u]Dusk to Dawn[/u] - Your Wall of Light covers a greater area (the wall will become longer.) [u]Brilliant and Blinding[/u] - Your Wall of Light is impossible to see through from the other side. Preventing any kind of focused fire from your enemies. [u]Twist and Turn[/u] - Your Wall of Light is reshaped into more of a half circle rather than a straight horizontal wall. Melee: Thermic Wave - A wind of extreme temperature that scorch away the defensives of your foes. Mods: [u]Rend[/u] - Further decreases your foes defenses. [u]Solar Wind[/u] - Pushes your foe further away than breeze would normally. If they hit an obstacle while under the effect of solar wind they take damage. [u]Spark Turned Flame[/u] - Hitting an ally will grant them a small boost to their super and give them about 40% of primary ammo back. Grenades: [u]Bipolar Bolt[/u] - A bolt of solar light. Use on an ally to eliminate any sort of recoil on all of their weapons. The opposite goes for if it's used on an enemy. Extremely high recoil. (In pve, throws of chosen enemy's aim.) [u]Rally Bolt[/u] - A bolt of solar light that boosts up to five nearby allies' passive stats for a short time. [u]Snatch Bolt[/u] - A beam of solar light that pulls a distant enemy in close. Can be extremely effective when combined with the Thermic Wave --------------------------------------------------- Edit 1: Loving your positive responses, never thought I'd get so many replies to this one! Edit 2: Added some more on the subclasses and made the text more accessible and smoother. You guys really seem to like this huh? ;) Edit 3: [b]For those of you more curios[/b]: Wardens have a boost in Agility and Recovery. Melee is called Breeze. A wind that pushes nearby enemies away from you. (Animation: Two hands pushing a wind.) Jump: Leap (You leap forward (or in chosen direction) with great speed. Great for disengaging from combat) Mods are (the same for every subclass): Greater Speed, Greater Height, Second Wind (Ability to change direction once during leap) Grenades: Grenades are more like bolts of magic. Hold L1/LB to select the bolt and release L1/LB to fire your bolt. Bolts travel in a straight line at medium to high velocity and are mildly seeking out targets. (Which means that if your aim is off by a bit it could compromise the attack. This target seeking thing is only so that bolts won't fly over an enemy's shoulder by two inches, exaggerating to make a point of course.) The Necromancer is probably the most offensive of the three and is therefor best suited for activities like regular strikes or crucible. The Necromancer also outdo the other subclasses if and when things go from bad to worse. The Wraith is all about keeping your fireteam alive and well. While not being optimal for maximum damage output the Wraith makes sure that your team doesn't wipe and complete the task brought upon you, given that you have enough time and patience. The Solarsmith is the complete opposite of the Wraith. While the Solarsmith have defensive qualities its main purpose is to help your fireteam deal as much damage as possible and get the job done quick. High risk, high reward. Cosmetic wise I don't know. What would make the warden stand out from the rest. Any ideas from the community? Edit 4: Added even more content, mostly about the Solarsmith and Wraith. Will start working on grenade options soon enough! Edit 5: Grenades/Bolts are here (see edit 3 for an explanation of what bolts are)! Which means the subclasses are mostly complete! What remains now are the passive perks. But for now this will do. Not sure if I'll start working on said perks but only time can tell. [i]However, there you go. A new class and it's 3 sub-classes.
