Can we all agree telesto needs a buff?
Feel free to drop a comment
Edit 1; in PvP, my opinion
-
Got it and it's fine - an effective pve gun with the right build and a fun but not too effective pvp gun.
-
I don't use it because I find it too much of a risk... The initial impact of when I hit someone is too low to kill, and I have to wait that split second for my rounds to explode... Within the time frame I get shot gunned and then he dies when my rounds explode... I could of just used a different fusion rifle and finish the job when I first shot him and be alive... It's a great pve weapon though
-
It needs tracking...
-
On the serious note, crowd control would make this an orb-gy gun.
-
It needs tracking, wolfpack rounds, and prepatch fusion rifle range stats. It also needs an inscription that says "I'm the new Gjallarhorn".
-
I agree, just a bit better charge rate would be nice imo
-
It's pretty perfect as is!
-
It needs Wolfpack rounds, lots of them.
-
In PvE to.
-
Paint a choke point or a corner as the enemy closes in and toss a nade... /dance Needs WAY more reserve ammo for the way it should be used in pvp. It will be interesting to see if it effective at all in iron banner. Maybe for the right map....
-
Its a pve beast all those orbs. Its ok in pvp if you dont mind alot of post mordum kills.
-
The gun seems quite fine in PVE, so I am confused... Don't PVPers always cry "Nerf!"? The gun already seems like part fusion rifle, part pulse rifle, and part grenade launcher. And has decent range. And it almost "pew pew"s... IDK, maybe you are using it wrong... Honestly, I've been waiting on the tears of OPness to pour from PVP about this gun to help me with a bounty... The gun is my new favorite. Buff it?! By all means, hell yes!!! But is it really necessary?
-
It's a PvE gun, not PvP. If they really felt all guns need to work for both, I suppose they could add more projectiles to it with lower damage. Maybe 20% less delay before popping? Same net effect for PvE, but it would disrupt the opponent's PvP aim to compensate for the kill delay.
-
Um, some guns just don't translate well into standard PvP modes. Telesto is one of them. Now, if we eventually get a Pvp mode like a juggernaut or ironman, then it will have a place.
-
Haven't tried it in PvP, but it is a PvE MONSTER, imo. I love it.
-
It just needs to be a one burst kill if all the projectiles stick the target
-
Honesty I think FR are pretty balanced as a user of them myself
-
I think that it needs just a minor slightest touch buff in PvP. Sometimes when I hit them with every shot and it explodes and when they don't die I think "shouldn't that be a one hit kill for the time that just took to charge and dodging that first shotgun blast??" Then I switch to my year 2 party Crasher and have fun :)
-
The telesto is fine the way it is, it more of a novalty gun that has alot of potential for some of the furthest ranged FR kills in the game. I use it all the time in Pvp and love it. But not all guns are meant to be Pvp god weapons, ya know?
-
Fusion rifles in general, yes. Telesto itself is something I get killed by a lot, it seems effective, so no.
-
Pretty sure ALL fusion rifles need a buff.
-
You guys realize it's the freaking needler from halo right? I never used the needler in halo in pvp lol
-
Honestly the need a spread buff to make up for the target size difference in PvP. Fusions were beasts in the vanilla meta, but got nerfed because people got good with them. I think that an overall minor buff to charge rate and spread reduction within 15-20 meters will leave them in a spot where they would be more useful than they are now while not being blatantly broken, like the adjustments made to AR's
-
Sticky nades need a SLIGHT buff
-
Fusion rifles suck. The telesto is 1 one the only fusion rifles I'll actually use and for the buff for pvp it doesn't need 1. Nobody should use a fusion rifle in pvp they are horrible. Why charge up a weapon when you can just use a sniper and 1 shot kill not like you won't be getting heads hots anyway
