I'd say that so far, you're on the right track--just don't get greedy. Emotes are hella fine to sell for cash; but please, save the best looking items to be obtained in endgame raids or endgame pvp. Make the goods you can buy for silver PURELY cosmetic. NO Marks or Engrams for sale. NO abilities, weapons, or armor. No drop rate increases or buffs. Period. If you go there, you will have a (well-earned) mutiny. Unlike my fellow guardians who are a bit salty over this, I'm used to microtransactions in WoW. I want to help you to make this system awesome and give you some of the infinite wisdom I have gleaned over my long years. 1. First, shaders. Give us some cool ones. How about shaders to match arc, void, and solar? I would buy one NOW for my sunbreaker titan or my golden gun hunter. 2. Sparrow skins. Make sparrows glow. I want a black sparrow that has tron-like qualities. 3. Different Ghost skins: I saw a fellow guardian ask for a mini servitor ghost on another post. That. Please. 4. How about a tower barbershop where we could change our skin color, tattoos, robot faces, etc? 5. Character race changes. 6. Emblems. Cool ones. MARATHON LOGO BUNGIE. For the love. I've had marathon logos on my Bungie toons since Halo 3, and I would sacrifice a thousand thrall in your honor if you would accomodate me here. I will buy it. 7. Character effects. Think in terms of the vanity transmog items that WoW sells. Maybe some flames for my solar? Pulsing purple for void? Arcing lightning? 8. GraveBane suggested ships below...do something awesome with ships, too. 9. MOST IMPORTANTLY, MAKE THEM CHEAP. Price items a-la-carte for 2-3 bucks a pop. Think Minecraft world skins on XBOX One, not Super Smash Bros' useless packets. Maybe that really cool badass shader is 3 bucks. Seriously. A fast nickel is better than a hard dime, Bungie. Show us some love. Don't price us out of cool items, but make them available to us at a FAIR price. I only buy the Blizz ones when they go down to half off because they are overpriced. Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with bungie on Earth, so let's get to taking out their command one by one. Tess Everis. From what I can gather she commands the micro transactions from an imperial kiosk, just inside the Tower. She's well protected, but with the right team we can punch her nose, take this beast out and break their grip on our money. Don't care about cosmetics... but if you ever make xp bonuses, armor, guns, materials, faster speeders, or anything that actually effects gameplay then im out. Up vote this if you agree so they can see it.

I swore I wasn't going to revisit this but.. I can't help it. It's like watching a slow motion train wreck. I can't believe people are buying the whole "we're doing this for funding" line of BS. Did people forget this game had a [b]half-billion dollar[/b] budget? And that doesn't even include the extra boost of revenue from Sony exclusivity. I guess these same people forgot that the original version of Destiny was reported to be profitable, which means it sold enough to cover expenses and made money. You still think they need this microtransaction garbage to pay for more development? This isn't some indie studio. This isn't some F2P game. This is a $60 AAA title with multiple full price DLCs for year 1 players that had a massive development budget and [i]turned a profit on the first installment[/i]. And people are still buying the idea that it's just going to be cosmetic only emotes forever? C'mon. Use your brain. If they're just going to sell cosmetic only emotes, they could easily do that through PSN and XBL without having to go through the whole process of making an in-game [i]microtransaction store[/i]. That's not something you do [i]just [/i]to sell [i]emotes[/i]; go look at every other F2P and B2P game that has done the same. It's [i]going[/i] to be much more than just cosmetic items, probably by the spring of next year. You can't see the writing on the wall that they took away reforging, one of the biggest things players enjoyed, but suddenly they're springing this new microtransaction store? I'm almost willing to guarantee reforging comes back.. as a pay-per-pack of reforging attempts in the Eververse store. And none of that is going to change the fact that, despite all this money, it [i]still[/i] suffers from a major content drought. Outside of the raid, which I haven't had time to do yet, and two of the other exotic swords, I [i]literally[/i] have nothing else to do in the game. It only took three weeks to reach that point. All I need to do now is grind the raid for light level increases and the last chain of stuff for Touch of Malice. I spent more time this weekend playing the Battlefront beta because I have little reason to log into Destiny unless it's Tuesday or Wednesday. Go ahead, add idiotic microtransactions. Bleed your users. Those of us with money are already looking forward to the rest of the AAA games lineup for the rest of the year. With Fallout 4, Battlefront, Halo 5 and a handful of Wii U titles upcoming (Xenoblade Chronicles X, primarily), I can't see why I'd bother with Destiny when I've already reached a point where, unless I want to grind more sh**ty crucible for swords or Chaperone, I have nothing left to do but the raid.

Dear DeeJ, Activision praises that this game took 500.000.000$ to make. How long did Bungie actively work on the game? 4 years? less? more? The base version of ESO offers numerous emotes for free. I don't want to be insulting. I once trusted Bungie as a game studio. Now, I ask myself: Where went all that money and what did you people do in all those years? The vanilla version of Destiny lacks many things a comparable RPG or shooter offers at the same development level. There are no faction story arcs and the weapon manufacturers that already existed in the base game gained some character after one year (and certainly not for free, because most of those guns are inaccessible for people without TTK). How much money does Bungie hope to make from those microtransactions (terrible invention btw) and what kind of content can we hope for when 500.000.000$ were not enough to deliver a full game? My last question you're probably not allowed to answer, but anyway: Why did Bungie make a contract with Activision and under these conditions? Didn't you people want to be free once? Activisions reputation equals only that of EA. You people must have known this. Did they make an offer you could not deny? Good luck

£40 for 1 raid and 1 new area. The rest is recycled shite. Not even a new enemy, just recycled fallen and hive with 1 or two new shitty abilities. I am actually furious about this Bungie. You owe some fcking compensation. I wont get the thousands of hours back I put into the first year of Destiny, and to make me look more of a mug you actually got us all to pay to reset our progress. My god you lot must think you're some kind of geniuses but in reality you are a bunch of greedy money grabbing bellends. These microtransactions are the icing on the cake. I'm done with this piece of shit. I want to sell my account back to Bungie. It's only fair.
