First of all I personally dismantled every year one weapon in my inventory to push myself to find the great year two gear. That being said everyone here complaining about party crasher, messenger, fel winters, hopscotch, and every other Y1 gun I don't think you guys understand. Thousands of guardians including myself bought destiny day one (and no this has nothing to do with money I think destiny is worth every penny) all of us spent hundreds if not thousands of hours killing the fallen, waking up the hive, getting smashed by cabal shields, killing atheon, Crota, skolas, trying to get the best gear to "become legend" as bungie says. Finally getting the vex, ghorn, queen breakers bow. Getting that hopscotch after playing 200 strikes in a row or the time seeing party crasher drop at the end of a crucible match. Let's not forget finally going flawless in trails and opening that beautiful chest on mercury(i only got it once)These are all great memories and triumphs from year one. Now here we are in year 2 and it is fantastic. Now here is the "point" I'm trying to make. For all of those hours. For all of the raids completed. The thousands of motes used to get that roll. Bungie has taken 90% of everything away from the year one veterans (like a shader is going to mage up for it) house of wolves didn't come out that long ago. So items from flawless trail runs and elder cipher weapons didn't get a chance to be used in PvE. So the only thing these players have left for these weapons they worked so had for is the crucible. They have the right to use them. They earned them. It's time for the new guardians to go out and find the year 2 weapons that will destroy all in iron banner and trails(year one weapons can't be used there). But as for the year one veterans of this amazing game. They will reap the rewards of there efforts in the crucible. I for one will find these new year 2 weapons and love the challenge of going against a Hunter with the messenger, feel winters, and truth. Game on guardians!
