Can you get banned for picking this up?

2 RepliesPersonally I doubt you'd get banned. My theory is at worst you'd receive nothing at the end of this possible future mission. You ate your cookie before dinner, so there is nothing for you after. Alternately, this is in the Vault, so maybe you never did this, already did it, and will do it. [spoiler]I just blew my own mind[/spoiler]

1 ReplyYou can pick it up. It's turning it in to FWC that may mess up your quest. I'd assume you would just skip through the quest once you get it.

You won't get banned but your be missing out on a future quest if you do pick it up. When you get the shell you have to give it to the FWC leader and your just get rep.

How the frick would people figure this out? You have to know someone at Bungie or reading code. There's no way this could be figured out otherwise...

You didn't modify the game or change it anyway outside of the game's own mechanics so they have no reason to ban anyone that does this.
