What is Guardian Down, you ask? Well, here's everything you need to know, below! Guardian Down Table of Contents: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/142503792/0/0 ________ The Trio were patrolling around the Cosmodrome on their Sparrows, the Hunter leading them, and the Titand Warlock flanking both of his sides. "How much farther?" The Titan asked through his communication link to the Hunter. The Hunter didn't reply, his mind was occupied on other things. Like the Warlock. "Hunter...?" The Warlock asked the mentally occupied Hunter. "The Titan asked how much farther do we have to go, before we reach our destination?" She finished. She, herself, was worried about the Hunter. He hadn't said a word to her since she revealed her gender to him. The Titan was no different, he'd always shift around when she got near him! Maybe it was her fault, she'd allowed herself to be treated the way men would treat other men. No doubt they probably felt bad for their behavior towards her, despite it not being their fault. "Eh...?" The Hunter said, his thoughts being brought back to the appointed task. "Oh... Oh!" He exclaimed, suddenly remembering that they almost missed their destination. "Right!" He said, getting his head back in the game. "Like I said before; just follow me!" He said, using his right arm to signal his team in the direction they were going. After riding through the narrow passage in one of the planes that had crashed in the plains of the Cosmodrome, the Hunter jerked his right arm backwards, signalling his team to halt. "What is it?" The Titan asked after stopping his Sparrow. "Check it out..." The Hunter said, as he pointed to another Hunter that was riding their Sparrow across the plains of the Cosmodrome. The Titan tilted his head, confused. "What's the big deal? It's just another Guardian. Maybe they're completing some bounties for the Vanguards. They have been getting a little pushy lately..." The Hunter let out an amused snort, as if the Titan had said something ridiculous. "The 'big deal'," the Hunter began, "Is that we might need them for something, you know, whatever it is. So, what's the harm in recruiting the guy?" "You just thought that be a good idea, now?" The Titan asked. It was fairly rare for the Titan to be snarky, but when he was, he was very good at doing it. "Just shut up and follow my lead!" The Hunter said, irritated. ______________________________________________ Rush braked his Sparrow, looking over a piece of Fallen tech he snagged earlier. "Hunt," Rush called, "Do you mind?" Rush's Ghost, Hunt, appeared not too long after being called. "I don't understand your obsession with this, honestly." Hunt said, as he obediently scanned the Fallen... thingamabob. "It's dead." Hunt said, obviously irritated as he finished scanning up the tech. "Again, I don't understand your obsession..." Hunt said, expecting an explanation from Rush. But nothing came. "...Rush?" Hunt asked, as he floated into Rush's view. Rush's attention was elsewhere now. He was looking at the three Guardians heading his way. Not that he wouldn't mind the company. "Looks like we got company, Hunt." Rush said, putting away the tech. Meaning, tossing it. "Let's just hope they're not into fiddling around like you are." Hunt said as he disappeared into tiny, blue flickering lights. Soon, the trio stopped near Rush. The Hunter getting off his Sparrow first. "Heeeeey!" The Hunter greeted, waving an arm casually. "What's up?" Rush blinked for a moment before responding. "Ah. Nothing much, I guess." He replied awkwardly. Despite not minding company, he wasn't in the best of moods. The Titan was the second to dismount his Sparrow, looking at Rush. The Titan could easily tell something was wrong with this Guardian, but he didn't want to bother him about it. "What's your name?" The Titan cheerfully asked the Guardian. "Rush. Rush 'Deadeye' Falzone." The Guardian replied. Rush looked at the three, tilting his head to the side gently. "What are your names?" "Ah, we just go by our class names..." The Warlock answered, also dismounting her Sparrow. Rush made a confused look behind his helmet. "Really? So... You don't go by your names...?" "Nope!" The Titan answered, again, happily. "Huh..." Rush said thoughtfully. Then, the Hunter made his way towards Rush, putting an arm around him. "Sooooooo," the Hunter began, "I'm sure you're wondering why we came to you in the first place. I mean, lookers like me don't just come to anybody, am I right?" "I wasn't exactly--" Rush began. "Ssh!" The Hunter said, cutting Rush off. "Now where was I...?" He asked himself, trying to find his place. "You were getting to the part where you were talking about yourself..." The Warlock reminded him, leaning against her Sparrow. The Hunter snapped his fingers, remembering what he was going to say. "Right. Thanks 'Lock." The Hunter said, looking at the Warlock. The Warlock waved her hand gently to him in reply, she couldn't help but feel a little happy that he was talking to her. Even if it was just a little bit. "Now, how'd you like to hang out with us for a little while?" The Hunter asked Rush, turning his attention back to him. Rush blinked. Scratch that, maybe being by himself wouldn't be so bad. Suddenly, Rush's Ghost tapped inside of his private comm link. "Rush, I know that you're upset over... Well..." Hunt reluctantly began. He didn't want to bring back old memories. "You know... But, maybe these three can make you feel better. Sure, they're very... Uh..." Hunt struggled for the right word, and Rush couldn't help but chortle lightly at the Ghost's reluctance. "Unique," Hunt continued, finally finding the right word, "But it's a start... I don't want to see you upset anymore. Alright?" "Alright." Rush said as he nodded lightly, agreeing with his Ghost. But the other three assumed that he was agreeing with them. "Great, so you're in!" The Hunter said, giving Rush a slap on the back. "Welcome to our Fireteam, buddy!" "Does that mean he can come to our "base"?!" The Titan asked excitedly. It was always nice to have a guest in the place! Guests were always so fun! "Oh, my Traveler. I hope he doesn't." The Warlock muttered under her breath. Rush wouldn't survive a day there.
Take 13... Squirteen?: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/157010104
