Two exotic engrams from xur today gave me...what?

Edit: decided to try one more time... Got a 4th light beyond nemesis.
Edit edit: was made aware almost straight off that their statement was about legacy engrams, but come on. Obviously this is trending, and the duplicates issue is.. Well, an issue!

4 RepliesMan i am getting sick of posting this same comment and replying to people all with the same issue to help get word out but theres nothing else for it and this lie needs to be made good on ASAP Its ridiculous and bungie needs to get this sorted I always get multiple of the same drops wasting all my coins from xurs engrams with that cryptarch punk, had like 9 hawk moons 7 in y1 and still dropping with a y2 version in my inventory already, constant same weapons from vendor rank up and still no ships and had one bit of armour, same fire-team members get same loot every time we are in raid and not to mention the constant 267-275 blue engrams that i need of course... Thats just some of main issues i have but there are more. As it stands the "new" and "smart" rng system is complete BS and just another lie/sales pitch to secure TTK sales. Love the game and all that but this rng seems worse than y1 As usual we will have no response i bet

Lol yeah I bought two exotic engrams and got two chests of alpha lupi. Next time I'm going to buy them at different times.

9 primary exotic engram drops from bosses, 7 year 2 Monte Carlos. Im so tired of seeing it pop up I stopped using 3oC just so I don't get any more engrams.

I've gotten 4 Suros it's the only gun I ever get from primary exotics I've gotten 3 invectives and 5 gravitation forfaits or whatever the helmets called and that's what I've gotten from my engrams

Agreed. Something is not adding up. Its like Bungie has increased the drop rates for exotics....but severely narrowed the pool of exotics that are available at any given time. I've probably bought 15 helmet Engrams from Xur since TTK dropped and the vast majority are the same three items: Light Beyond Nemesis, Obsidian Mind, and Insurmontable Skullfort. REGARDLESS of what class of character is having them decrypted. This is ridiculous.
