The Titan muttered in his "sleep", twisting and turning in his bed. "N-nobody likes a burnt bundt cake, I-I'll burn them if I don't w-watch them... Mgh... N-not again..." Meanwhile the Hunter was carrying a bundle of gear in his arms, watching the Titan sleep. He was just about to wake up the Titan so they could head out, but the Titan's muttering distracted him from that. [i]Especially[/i] when he brought up the Warlock in his muttering. With a grunt of effort, the Hunter dropped the gear onto the sleeping Titan, who woke up with an outburst of surprise. "GAH! IT'S THE APOCALYPSE! OFFICE SUPPLIES FALLING FROM THE SKY!!!" The Titan shouted frantically, now sitting up in his bed. "Can it! These aren't office supplies, it's your gear." The Hunter said, sweeping his hands together. "The heck were you dreaming about, anyway?! You wouldn't shut up!" "U-uhh..." The Titan stuttered, not wanting to come out about his [i]private[/i] dream, he just decided to stray from it... "Wh-what time is it...?" "Eight thirty in the morning. Thought we'd get a head start while 'Lock and Rush are asleep..." The Hunter replied sourly, leaving the room. The Titan positioned himself so that he sat sideways on his bed. "Whew... No more dream sequences for me..." He said to himself, fiddling with one of his armored antennae. "Well, maybe after one or two more..." ___________ "Breakfast is ready!" The Titan shouted happily, plating two fluffy square waffles on each of the four plates that were on the bar-style counter. "Fiiiiinally I'm starving!" The Hunter groaned as he had a seat. "Good morning..." The Warlock said, yawning and stretching as she had a seat next to the Hunter, her helmet off. "Ah, I'm sorry..." The Warlock apologized, straightening out her midnight blue hair with a pale-grey hand. "I neglected to comb my hair this morning... It's just that I had stayed up late reading, and--" "N-no!" The Titan interjected, "You look pretty! I-I mean--" Both the Warlock and Hunter looked up at him when he said this, and the Titan flinched slightly at his own words, and he started bumbling to save his "mistake". "I-I mean you look fine! W-wait that's not what I meant--" "Titan," the Hunter said through clenched teeth, "Just... stop talking..." "You're right, sorry." The Titan puffed, saving himself some "breath" as he continued to cook spare food, for himself of course... "Mornin'..." Rush greeted as he entered the room, his back still sore from the Titan's bear hug. "Good morning, Rush." The Warlock greeted back, smiling warmly at him as Rush took a seat. "Yeh, how you doin'...?" The Hunter greeted distractedly, spinning the tip of the blade of his knife lightly into the counter. "Ooh, this looks nice." Rush remarked, eyeing his plate of crisp juicy bacon, sunny-side up eggs, and fluffy waffles. "Thanks Titan." Rush thanked, nodding once. "Heh, no problem!" The Titan returned, as he continued to cook. "Meh..." The Hunter grunted as he started to scarf down his eggs, his odd-colored brown and blue eyes fixed on his plate. Oh, what a [i]great[/i] way to start the day off. "Yes... Thank you Titan..." The Warlock also thanked, smiling warmly at the Titan. "No problem, sweetheart!" The Titan blurted as he turned around to look at the Warlock, not realizing his second "mistake". "MFF!" The Hunter choked on his eggs upon hearing the Titan, holding his neck with the hand as he started to cough out the eggs. "I-I mean--" The Titan stuttered, [i]now[/i] realizing what he had just said. "N-no problem, honey wasp... kitten baby!" The Titan continued to stutter, trying to save his chances of embarrassment. The Warlock blinked, confused by the Titan's odd behavior, and the Hunter's strange probable hostility towards the Titan. "Ok, then..." Rush blinked, awkwardly eating a piece of bacon. ___________ [i]Honey wasp kitten baby...[/i] The words tumbled around in the Hunter's head, as he brandished his knife, slouching in his swivel chair as his feet rested on his desk. [i]Honey wasp [b]kitten[/b] baby?![/i] The more the Hunter thought about it, the more peeved he became. Removing his feet from his desk and sitting in his chair properly, the Hunter looked around for something, [i]anything[/i] to take out his frustration on. He spied a thick book that rested near one of the legs of his desk and he put it on his desk. Opening it, he lied down his knife on the desk, and started to slowly tear out a page of the book one by one in an attempt to somehow ease himself. [i]HONEY WASP--[/I] The Hunter started to tear at the pages faster, getting angrier and angrier until he brought out his knife and started tearing through the pages. [i][B]KITTEN BABY?![/B][/i] Tearing and stabbing at it wasn't enough, he had to [i]fully[/i] express his frustrations. A flaming Golden Gun appearing in the Hunter's hand, the Hunter shot once at the book, making it immediately disintegrate, leaving whatever was left of it scattering in the air. "Whoo..." The Hunter sighed, exhausted from his speechless venting. "Man that felt [i]good[/i]..." The Hunter sat back in his chair, feeling much better now as his Golden Gun extinguished. "Hunter... I heard a noise?" The Warlock said worriedly as she entered his room. She gasped at what she sees. "We're about to go and-- Hunter!" The Warlock's gentle voice has morphed into an angry shout as she noticed something on the ground near the entrance of the door. A page from a book she lent the Hunter. Snatching up the page, she walks over to the Hunter, [i]very[/i] upset. "What did you do to my book?!" "Wait, what book-- OH." The Hunter said, sitting up in his chair now as he suddenly remembered that the book belonged to the Warlock. "Oh man, I just--" "Just what?!" The Warlock cut him off, her bright yellow eyes flashing with anger under her helmet. "[i]Where[/i] is my book?!" "I... Uh..." The Hunter said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I kind of shot it..." "SHOT IT?!" The Warlock repeated in disbelief. "What in the Traveler's name were you thinking?!" "Uh... I can always buy you some new ones!" The Titan, who was standing next to the entrance of the door, offered. "It's no problem, we'll find you more books that are even better than that!" The Warlock looked back at the Titan, her mood simmering down. Smiling she nodded her head once at him. "Ah, thank you, Titan..." She thanked, before looking back at the Hunter for the last time. "[b]We leave in five.[/b]" She ended on a sour note, before walking away from the Hunter to leave with the Titan. Speechless from the Warlock's scolding, the Hunter sighed, about to join them, until [i]something[/i] stops him. They were touching. The Titan was touching the Warlock's back, in a [i]comforting manner[/i]! Why-- What--?! What was this, he didn't even-- ___________ The Fireteam started to crowd into the elevator that led downwards to the Tower. The Titan and Warlock squished together, and the squished Hunter on the other Titan's side, with Rush squished next to him. "Oops, heh, sorry." The Titan apologized, trying to give the Warlock some room in the crammed elevator. "It is alright, Titan..." The Warlock nodded gently. She really didn't mind, actually. "So, I guess this is what peas in a pod feel like..." The Titan remarked, making the Warlock laugh a little. "Let's never use that expression, ever again." She chuckled. The Hunter was just feeling sick. This... This was [i]too[/i] much fluff for him. "Bleggh..." The Hunter said under his breath to make the impression of gagging. Rush looked at the Hunter, concerned by his behavior. "Hunt," Rush said, "Is something wrong...? You've kind of been acting weird all day..." "Tsk, buzz off, I'm fine..." The Hunter grudgingly dismissed, crossing his arms as he kept to himself. "Oh..." Rush blinked, frowning slightly. "Alright then..." He definitely didn't believe the Hunter, but eventually, he'd come out with it. The Hunter, however, didn't like opening up about his feelings at all. He always took it upon himself to look better than he felt, no matter the circumstance. Pushing away people didn't help him, no. But it helped him keep up his image; making it seem as if nothing got him down was merely a facade he put on to hide his actual feelings... and insecurities. [quote]Take 15...
