I like what you've done with the taken king but I think you should update the rest of your game to be on par with the taken king. Such as the vault of glass, crota's end and the prison of elders, they should be updated to match the max level of the rest of the game. I mean you can make the raid gear drop at 160 light or whatever but make it upgradeable and make the exotic drops in the raids so that it drops the new updated version the old raids can drop the updated year one weapons and leave the year two as they sit in the king's fall raid and nightfalls and such. As it sits right apart from the king's fall raid the rest of the game is useless. You did good with making it so you can upgrade all of the gear on the house of wolves and people were excited for that, but then you went back to your old ways and made the rest of the gear completely useless. Or make a new mode for the taken king players and leave the other modes as they are for non ttk players, so we can still enjoy the other raids and update the levels on this mode as the game expands. This is what any good mmo would have done and its a suggestion that I'm 110% confident that the rest of your community would agree with.
