Anyone else having trouble getting Primaries from Engram drops?
Reason I ask this is because at the beginning of last week, I went three full days of playing without a single Primary Engram dropping. Then I got myself a Hawkmoon from our friendly neighbourhood dealer(hooray!) and am still struggling to get any Primary weapons to infuse them with. The few primaries I've had have either been green, or have sat down in the 260 region (despite my light level being 291). This is becoming a real problem with raiding, as my Primary and Ghost shell are the only things holding me back.
Is anyone else having a problem getting primaries, or any other particular type to drop for that matter?
EDIT: It seems i'm not the only one undergoing this pain (or similar pain with other item types). Just to clarify, I have done the court/ strike chains etc. My problem is that every engram type EXCEPT primaries drop, and then in the rare event they do, they are either useless, motes or materials. On the upside, I did get an Exotic one from my 3OC chain and got a 290 Last word! Progress at last!

I am having that issue also. I just picked up the exotic auto rifle quest for my Titan but I can't get the 10 Rare or Legendary auto rifles I need to dismantle for parts. I think out of about the roughly 200 engrams I have gotten, I have only had 2 auto rifles. 80% of the engrams I do get are Rare armor drops. And in the off chance I do get lucky enough to scoop up a Rare primary engram, it's usually Motes of Light or maybe a scout rifle. Before I got the quest, I use to get Primary Engrams left and right with about half of them being auto rifles but ever since I got the quest from Banshee, my primary engram drops have fallen almost 75-80%

Me too the only engram I have gotten was a primary legendary engram and I got the last word from it but other than that I haven't gotten a primary blue engram in a long time and this is really starting to bother me

1 ReplyI very rarely get a blue primary engram. I always get chest pieces and helms. Out of using 30 three of coins I've gotten 6 crest of alpha lupi and 2 mask of the third man helms. I use one at the beginning of heroic strikes

I get VERY few primary drops, and when I do get them, they are a much lower level than my 294 hung jury. Can't seem to progress my weapons worth a shit.

The only primaries that drop for me are low level greens, but I get blue and purple secondaries and heavies like it's nobodies business

Im only getting crappy 280~ special weapons from engrams. Heavy and primary don't want to cone to me to me.

I seem to only get arm and chest engrams. All turn into crest of alpha lupi and sealed ahamaka's grasps. I finally got one today and got a Hawkmoon, which I already had.

Play a shit ton of heroic strikes back to back, you get tons of engrams.

1 ReplyNow that you mention it...I haven't found a single legendary primary since starting Ttk!!! Something seems fishy about this! I've found plenty of 290+ blue primaries, but not a single legendary primary! Wtf!

Since I got my gunsmith quest for dismantling snipers I haven't had a single one drop for me and that was a week ago not a single one sucks

Since TTK I haven't had a legendary Primary from an engram. The only Legendary Primary I've gotten was from the Gunsmith. I've only ever gotten two Rare primaries, both were low level. On the other hand, I keep getting the same Legendary Sidearm over and over. I've had 4 or 5 so far. Whats equally annoying for me is that I can't get Legendary Armor. Anytime I get a Legendary Purple engram it turns into an Artifact or a Bond. Helmet, Chest, Gloves or Boots. Doesn't matter. I thought this was impossible. I didn't think a Glove could turn into a helmet or a chest could turn into legs , but apparently they can all turn into Artifacts and Bonds.

Ever since I got the Fabian strategy bounty I [b]HAVE NOT[/b] gotten a single primary weapon to drop let alone a rare or legendary auto rifle.

I get primary engrams but it seems like I don't get special weapon engrams anymore. Been stuck on 8/10 fusion rifle parts for 6 days now and only 1 special weapon engram in that time (turned into a sniper rifle) Also, it seems like lately most.of my weapon engrams turn into motes of light or strange coins.

I've gotten more legendary primaries from blue engrams than anything.
