Fix for people on XBox One who can't acces TTK content after purchase
Hello everyone,
So for the masses who purchased the TTK and have had trouble installing it I have a fix for you. (Update: From what I have heard from people this method should work for all versions of Destiny.)
Step 1: Select Destiny from your main screen and selection options.
Step 2: Click on Manage Game.
Step 3: Click on Destiny Expansion Pass (This is what the code downloads directly)
Step 4: Scroll over to where it says compatible. Here it should show an image of Destiny TTK legendary edition.
Step 5: Click on this image. This will load a place where you can purchase it. (Do not click purchase)
Step 6. Click on the Image of Destiny TTK next to where it says buy.
Step 7: Select Install.
Step 8: Enjoy.

1 ReplyTried this and all is ok up until Step 7 as, rather than Install, I get Installed. A difference of only two letters. I really don't want to have to purchase the digital copy just to play the game.

Ok so i have posted several times on this no one has helped i bought the digital collectors edition tried bungies work around did not work uninstalled everything to re install now i cant find the expansion or any content and it wants to charge me again is there a fix.

We both want to help people not to be stuck with such a problem. PS4 user; We use two separate psn's. One to buy games, and one to play those games. Since it's on the same console that work fine, but apparently ttk doesn't work that way for ps4 users for whatever ridiculous reason. I can't buy TTK with another account then the one where I already have the Expansion pack. Why ?? Give us the freedom to buy the content from where we want, the requierements it's to be in the same store as the game and have money for that. By the same store as the game i can give an example: The game is bought from an us account and the DLC most be also bought from an us account. We have all that and we still have the some error message: "You have to buy the expansion pack to be able to buy TTK" I already have the expansion pack in another account and it works fine so i will not buy again ! and I wanna buy TTK from another account (where I have money) not the same as the expansion pack.

None of those icons showed up. Bought legendary ttk and still haven't played b cuzz disc doesn't show download ttk. Redeem codes only work for surfs pack, the ttk is on there. THIS IS SOME BS.

I received my email confirmation but it wouldn't appear anywhere in Destiny AND my Xbox one... I tried and press "Purchase" again in Destiny and it said that I already bought it and asked me if I wanted to install it. "Yay, problem solved", I thought. So I pressed the Install button. It sent me to a page written "Manage The Taken King"... a black page with absolutely nothing on it, and worst, I couldn't do anything. Please, help me :(

I got the exotic items in my inventory but I am unable to equip them as I get the note "The Taken King collectors edition required". With the $60 price tag I am hoping I have the actual expansion. Help?

2 RepliesFor me it seems to work up until Step six, as I cannot see any image of "Destiny TTK" anywhere near the Buy button. The only images I can see are the ones under images. Am I doing something wrong?
