101 RepliesThat's too bad. The wolfpacks added some excitement to the patrols. I remember killing a Scorch Captain and then a kinderguardian promptly grabbed the scorch cannon and then ran halfway across the map to kill some level 8 dregs. I wasn't even mad. I was just like, "You go little Guardian. You go kill those dregs with your scorch cannon."

Just as the blades of Crota left once Crota's invasion was thwarted, so to will the wolves now that their rebellion has been crushed. Once TTK drop, the events of HoW will be in the past. So, lore-wise, all the Fallen hunted will be dead once TTK comes. It doesn't matter if [b][i]you[/i][/b] did it, lore-wise, [b][i]someone[/i][/b] did.

1 ReplyBungie's writers are lazy and unimaginative. The Wolves could 100% stay somewhere on Earth, Moon, and Venus but they are too stupid to think how to do it. I mean, except for maybe the Moon I can think of a spot each of the head honcho Wolf guys could "retreat" to. Like on Earth, the guy in the Divide could go inside the Dock area or Breach (or outside where you start). On Venus all the Wolves could retreat to near the Ketch area. Spread out among that HUGE area. The moon is harder, but I'm sure it would not be hard to figure out. Put a general near those mini-bounty targets. Simple. Bungie is just lazy as hell.

Because bungie can only handle one at a time first they took the swords of crota away then the wolves. Its to make way for the new ones

I kind of figured this was going to happen sooner or later. I will miss them though, as they made patrol a little more exciting, and it was fun teaming up with fellow guardians to wipe them out.

It shouldn't be a surprise... the Swords of Crota spawns ended when HoW came out. It [i]would[/i] be nice if BOTH of these random spawns continued in some fashion or another... Y2 players will NEVER know the painful fun of farming these for bounties.

To clarify, I mean the people buying Destiny now WITH THE DLCs are not going to be able to experience the full content of those DLCs. That's what I'm saying sucks for them.

5 RepliesOut of curiosity, does anyone know how we will get keys for poe after wolves leave? Bungie stated that the elder cipher weapons will simply drop in the chest, no more bounty. The question is, will we need a ley to open the chest? If so will we have to just hope that a key drops in one of the small chests? I suppose i'll just have to wait and see.

1 ReplyI believe only the patrols are leaving, so you can still do the other bounties she carries. (The ones were you have to kill certain thing a like the Queenbreaker Capitan.)
