Props to Robert Brockway for putting the things I have experienced into words. Bravo man, bravo.

I would add: The people who refuse to communicate Remember when games use to be a social experience? A bunch of friends all huddled up next to a TV (or more), helping each other out or smack talking. Those were some of the best times, and they carried over with online gaming. No good game of Halo every started, ended, or played through without trash talking or congratulating an enemy (or teammate). One of the greatest things you could hear was an enemy yelling out to their team right as you kill him or her, and even better if you hear them get angry for T-bagging (or clam slamming/V-bagging). Now you can't strategize with your team anymore since either they are in a party talking to people not in the game, or they have become sensitive bitches who can't handle a little trash talking or don't know how to communicate. If someone if over the top and making personal attacks, mute and report them, problem solved, no need to act like every one is a complete asshole. These days I have more communication from a wall than I do strangers on XBox Live, unlike the good old days.

They missed out a few. This is my personal list: (it's mainly FPS based, I'm sorry) -the guy who breathes really heavily down the mic (may include eating noises) -the resource/XP grinder who contributes nothing to the team and is AFK for most of the game -the guy who resets all his items/armour/weapons etc... because he thinks it makes him better than everyone else -the unsocial guy who refuses to reply to messages/party invites/game invites -the guy who just sucks at everything he plays -that one kid who can't help but bring up CoD, Minecraft or GTA in any conversation they get in -the guy who doesn't understand objectives and thinks that shooting people is the only way to get points because he's so simple minded -the guy who's better than you but you don't want to admit it -the guy who plays his favourite music down the mic (I have 6 friends who do this) -the guy with the terrible internet connection (this was me for a while) -the guy who can't sit through cutscenes and skips them as you're getting into the story -the guys who make it their goal to ruin the days of the people on their own or the other team by any means necessary -the guy who doesn't understand then difference between playing a game "seriously" and playing a game "properly" -the guy who team kills because he's not skilful enough to do it on the enemy team -the spawn killer who won't give the enemy a fair fight -the modder/hacker who can't handle being beaten and has to cheat his way through online games -the guy who rage quits after 1 little thing goes wrong and it pisses him off Yeah, I think that's about it

Just gonna quote this here because it's so bad ass...
I'm a casual mother-blam!-er, mother-blam!-er? I am literally old enough to -blam!- your mother and it wouldn't be weird. I mean, supposing she was into it. People would see us together and they wouldn't be all, "That's inappropriate." They'd be like, "Good for her; they seem nice together." We'd hold hands and take funny pictures in a photo booth, and when she falls asleep in my arms, spent and satisfied, I'm so old that I wouldn't even get weird about it when she farts in her sleep. Because I not only accept the faults of the human body but actually get some comfort from the humanizing effect it has on her. That's how "casual" I am, you little bitch.
I've come across so many of those "stoner" ones. I get that people like to smoke it but most of us don't give a shit. We don't need you telling us about it. That, right there, is my problem with weed smokers in general. Not only do they announce it in every game I find them in but they have to announce it everywhere else too. "I smoke weed" Good for you, now shut the -blam!- up about it, dick.

lol nice
